Just wondering if anyone would play a forum game similar to the one run by Ciderhead in the Championship forum or the old Premier League Game that ran for years on the old forum. Would start it next week for the matches on the 9th Sep if there was the interest.

For the folk who don't know what it is, basically I would post a list of scenarios that could happen in the following set of fixtures (TPLG and TCG have 26 each week, I may or may not do less) with points next to them based on likeliness to happen, you pick a set amount (in those 2 it's 6, if I do less than 26 scenarios it might be less) and if they happen you get the corresponding amount of points to that scenario. Highest points overall at the end of the season wins.

I may have made a complete hash of that explanation so it may be better to read the thread in the Championship section.

Welcome to THE LEAGUE ONE GAME 2017/18!

So I've decided to have some small alterations to the equivalent games from the leagues above. The main one is that there is only 15 scenarios and you only pick 5 of them, rather than 26 and picking 6 of them in the other versions. I'm not going to dress it up as something it's not, it's because I'm hopeless at coming up with scenarios.

Anyway, each scenario has a set amount of points in the column next to it, roughly equating to how likely it is to happen (the 4 point scenarios are fairly likely, the 12 and 16 point ones not so much). If you pick a scenario and it happens, you get that amount of points. If it doesn't happen, you get 0 points for that pick (but you could still score points from your other picks). Most weeks will consist of 13-14 'normal' scenarios and 1-2 'special' scenarios (for example, this week has a 13/2 split; the 'special' scenarios are shaded in green). The deadline to pick your scenarios is 1 minute before the first game kicks off.

Depending on how many people actually play this game, there may be a knockout cup running in the second half of the season. More info on that when the time comes.

Fuck sake; well hopefully the meaning of that scenario is taken by everyone to just mean "Fleetwood beat Oldham", ignoring the pointless, and wrong, extra detail.
