I think you Rotherham fans are being a bit kind to us, we were poor and you could easily have scored 5 or 6

Love the ground btw, one of the best i've been to in the FL

What was with the shining torches towards us? Is that a regular thing or just some kids messing about? Seemed to go on from both sides for half the game

Rotherham are absolutely flying, 7pts off now, automatic contenders?

Still quite a big gap up to third, but it should help stop us getting complacent. Depends if Wigan really have blown up (unlikely tbh) or if it’s just the cup tie distracting them

Thank you. That torch thing had me baffled as well. I noticed it included some of your fans too. Never seen it before, so it’s not just a weird Rotherham thing lol.

We do that torch thing sometimes in solidarity of Scunthorpe's steel workers. Maybe Rotherham's is something similar?

Imagine how good we would be if Darrell Clarke did his half time team talk before the game!

Don't think we were good last night, ultimately a lot fitter than Rochdale who tired early which doesn't look good considering we played Sat and they didn't. That said, I reckon we have one of the fittest teams in the League hence why we score an awful lot of late goals and have another good record of come back wins.

A couple of weeks ago we were already down if you had read our forum - despite being 5/6 points clear. Now there's a little bit of "can we?" floating about.

Lovell is a football genius

He genuinely is. I can't remember the last manager we had who makes so many consistently excellent adjustments not only on a game to game basis but midway through games as well. I know that should be par for the course as a football manager but a lot seem to struggle with that concept,as we know first hand!

In past years we were struggling for a plan B, Lovell seems to have an alphabet's worth of contingency plans. 3 league games lost since the 8th October is a testament to that. I Love(LL) him so very much.

That part sounds like McCall tbh,we played nice pretty football but his tactics were none existent in both spells in charge, some are made to coach not manage.
Even that ‘pretty football’ tag was a myth, after Parkinson anything would’ve been prettier but it’s not like we ever passed teams to death, 9/10 times we created nothing from open play.

I think we did early season when the pitches were decent (more so last season), but yes we were more bothered about possession stats than creating chances. We've had just as many dull games as under PP, but instead of hoof it was about passing about mainly side to side around the back. We are poor when the pitches get worse, which sadly if for more than half a season at this level, except for a few like Wigan, Charlton and MK Dons.

We played good footy last season, had more possession and shots in pretty much every game even away. Problem was we couldn’t finish until Wyke arrived. This year it’s been mostly poor I would agree.

Real six pointer today and our line up isn’t what was expected but a big boot up the arse to the midfield who haven’t performed in the last 2 games

1-0 up away to top of league at half time. The stat of 1 off target shot for them vs 9 shots from us, 5 on target gives me more worry than comfort. Im sure shrews will get better in the second half

Let's do a sweepstake.

When will MK get their late equaliser?

I'll go for 86th minute.

F***ing awful defending for the 93rd minute winner there.

We were rubbish up front, as were Wimbledon. 2 poor teams in honesty.

Not sure we deserved to lose a draw was probably fair but it only makes up for Rochdale where we robbed them on Tuesday

Wow, thats the one I thought would stop us. So who will? Four points off Wigan, but it could take a very long time to make those up, if at all once their cup tie is out of the way

Dreadful performance and result at Wimbledon. Why is it that every game we play there is less exciting than watching grass grow?
Defended very well for 92 minutes then punished by one piece of poor defending right at the end. Two pretty poor teams. Wimbledon will probably stay up, they're very well organised at the back.

One point off the play off's after a 1-0 away win at Oxford, which wasn't easy, described as a Blood and Snotters performance

I swear every time you lose it’s relegation fodder and every time you win its promotion bus

You talking to me?
Yes

Nothing personal and chances are I’m wrong but I swear every time Southend win you’re singing praises on the squad strength and skill but the opposite when you lose
