We're turning into the 1-0 specialists, that'll do me.

Three weekends on the bounce now.

Up the fucking Gills.

Fully deserved win for gills today they certainly did a job on us with the early goal then frustrating the living day lights out of us which is the best way to beat us but my god our defence are an absolute disgrace. They were too many players well off their game today we were out fought and muscled throughout the entire game.

We were awful and Northampton deserved their win. We can't defend for toffee especially after scoring ourselves.

JJ O'Toole is still a grade A Tool though.

We make him look like an A grade Toole.

Famously, I haven't been to many games this year (I didn't renew my season ticket). First one since Walsall and we looked absolutely terrible. No pace, no tempo, no ambition. Full backs didn't go forwards, wingers not tracking back, absolutely no one showing for the ball.

Northampton absolutely should have scored more. The miss with an open goal from half a yard out was cracking stuff.

Tiendalli did bugger all going forward and was even worse defensively. He did a great impression of a pub footballer in slow motion.

What do John-Joe do? Apart from completely bossing the pitch with his coolness

Moan constantly, fall over whenever he lost the ball and scream at the ref, the usual really. Put it about but didn't like it back etc. Hence still a grade A Tool. Just like I suspect most opposition fans thought of Chris Maguire for us.

That said, he was effective for you and it was noticeable how it affected your attacking play when he went off. Not that we had the ability to do anything with it.

Glad Pompey didn't lose 4 in a row.. decent win at Blackpool. Not in a bad position and happy with it so far.

Was embarrassing. He's a great player but actions like that are why everyone else thinks he's a cockwomble. Yet he wonders why nobody likes him.

Glad to se Danny Lloyd get a goal. Hows he doing Posh fans? Although he was excellent for us I thought League One would be a bit too much of a leap.

Played well on Tuesday against Cambridge. This was his first start in the league so time will tell.

I was just glad he never sent the Wimbledon player off, at least he failed in his attempts to achieve that - especially when he stayed motionless on the floor for the next five minutes.

Yeah, well a silver lining there would have been that Trotter would be suspended for a few games. Ridiculous from Maddison - thinking anyone would believe that Trotter could get close enough to an opposition player to hurt them.

Question for any Posh supporters who travelled by train. I dealt briefly with one of your supporters who fell on the way to the ground. The police administered first aid then St. John's took over. Last I saw of him was being treated in an ambulance at the entrance to the ground. Any news how he is and whether he was able to make the train home again?

Not good news. It has been confirmed by the club that Curtis Nelson ruptured his Achilles tendon on Saturday against Northampton and will be out for the rest of the season.

That is sad to hear. I can't imagine he will travel on Saturday but he would have got a very good reception. A real gentleman.

Was away this weekend so didn't go to Oxford, but it seems like we were the much better side and we're finally starting to look like a decent side. Scunthorpe tomorrow in the FA Cup replay and then again on Saturday, confident of a couple of good results consdering how they played in the draw two weeks ago

Genuinely sorry to hear that, from where I was it appeared to be an innocuous challenge/incident that caused it. One of those where the play goes up the other end leaving the player injured on the deck without an obvious reason why.

Definitely improving Latics v probably (hopefully) improving Dale.

A good tempered and hard fought 2-2, with a slightly disappointing 1666 away fans in attendance*.

(*Not going myself, am at Bramall Lane Saturday, for the British PubQuiz championships...:giphy:
