Hoping for a Yedin hat-trick on his big return both to the team, and to the Premier League.

Outstanding save by Fabianski!

Good call by the ref - Newcastle guy went down easily.

We've not quite clicked yet, mainly because of Newcastle's tactics that are straight out the guide, Tony Pulis: How to play football, but you can see we're going to evolve into a majestic team once we get to know. As that Oyo dude said the forward line, including the marauding full backs, are chock-a-black with fast twitch muscle fibres.

How on earth did Sanches get away with intentionally kicking that player in the balls? Surely a retrospective ban?

Well was Ritchie only booked because there was a lack of contact on Mowson?

Very much the same sort of incident as Mane's..

I didn't think Mane should've been sent off and neither with Ritchie. Game's gone soft.

That was far too easy. Swansea a dead cert to go down imvho as previously predicted. A club of their small stature will struggle to attract players good enough to get them back up too.

Ritchie only gets yellow but Mane got a red smh. FA should rescind it.

Poor that. You played like a League Two on their big FA cup draw. Our talent is obvious. Just need to build up the chemistry as some key hitters find their match fitness.

Well done Newcastle. Limited Swansea to a few half chances, and looked dangerous on the break in the second half. Merino was good, and I thought Gamez was surprisingly excellent going forward on the left.

Paul Clement: "Very frustrating. I'm finding it difficult to understand why I saw what I saw. I'm very disappointed with the way that we played.

"Although the margin of defeat is very small, ultimately decided by a set-play, for me the difference in the two teams in the performance was much greater than that. I thought they were better than us."

Psychology for our boys, don't fret it.

Both sides will be lower mid table. Neither will go down

Wouldn't be surprised to see either go down tbh.
