So, it's in the middle of a housing estate with no car park. They'll be able to advertise the top-floor flats as having 'free view football'.

All well and good but as one of our supporters has posted on Nomads, this proposal is on green belt land so unlikely to feature in St. Albans City and District Council's local plan. Laurence Levy proposed something similar a few years ago and that was shot down in flames too.

Having read there statement it seems they need to get the local plan changed. Having viewed that process with us, that is no mean feat and we invested significantly on advisors and what have you to get it done.

Id be very surprised if the idea gets any further, especially in a place like St Albans where I imagine the football club is ignored by those in the council.
