Having the most viewers doesn’t necessarily equate to having the most fans.
Going on them viewing figures Leeds would have twice and 3 times the support of the other big clubs in the league, which is clearly not the case.

I was going to say high viewing figures relates to being the most attractive team to watch.
But Wolves play attractive football, also have good support but their viewing figures are surprisingly very low.

I tend to watch Liverpool and Man City as much as possible but don’t support either.

Many of those Sky viewers won’t support Leeds so I can only assume it’s based on club reputation.
Due to past glories many fans around the country often have some interest regards how Leeds are getting on, so will tune in when they’re on Sky.
Think most neutrals and PL fans would like to see them return to the PL more than any other club, hence the added interest.

I'd say they are comfortabley the best supported team in this league, in terms of fans aligning themselves with them. Leeds have a lot of fans all over the country, and are the only club in the third biggest city in England. The trouble is, most of them never go. I honestly think most neutral fans have no interest in watching Leeds now, why would they?

I'm delighted with us being on all the time with not being able to go. Tbh Friday night games and Saturday teatime games are top class anyway.

Our game with Villa on Sat 17th March has been changed to a 5:30 kick off for Sky.

Sky have moved our game at Cardiff from 3pm Saturday to 7.45pm on Friday night. Fucked right off as the Saturday is my birthday, unsure if I can go now.
