Really can't be bothered to go, Blackburn last week was horrendous and this week we have no Bannan or Forestieri. The Millers always turn up for the game at Hillsborough, even when we were good we only just scraped past them in the 98th minute, win today and we'll have a nice cushion on the bottom 3, lose and we are dragged right in. Must win for Luhukay, and the team.

The team will be picked out of the lucky lucky raffle, so I can't even give a prediction.

Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Rotherham United
Smith 22'
Joao 75, 90'

If it wasn't for Dawson'so error, you would have got the score and goalscorers right!
That would have been very harsh on Rotherham though, surely Jos has to go soon, we're shite,

Defensive errors costing us again, so frustrating because will all due respect to Wednesday, you were there for the taking but we couldn't take of our chances aswell and we need a 2 goal lead to see out a game or we haven't a chance.

They’ve had it worse mate, sure they’ll cope.
Difference being when we've been shite before, we were paying a "reasonable" price, watching the shite our "team" is currently displaying and also paying on average probably the most in the League is past a disgrace.
So many things not right at the moment, shit manager, best players not being picked (or reputedly injured) chairman who has lost the plot, being under embargo but not telling the fans, no idea on commercial side, fans being robbed on admission charges, kit prices, membership , fans regularly fighting amongst themselves etc it's toxic atm.

All this within 2 years of being in a playoff final, having money to spend, playing exciting attacking football and for the 1st time in 20 years looking like a club going in the right direction, to now a club yet again in disarray, only SWFC could have a multi millionaire chairman but not have a penny to spend.

It's so bad it's funny, we're watching terrible football, but being charged Premier League prices for the privilege, at least the fans are shouting for the managers head so complete apathy hasn't set in yet.
Believe me with Jos in charge relegation is a certainty, change now (or very soon) and at least we have a chance (though it won't be easy having no money to spend and probably at some stage having to sell the better players who we can get money for).

Anyway, sorry for the essay, but despite having "had it worse" it is bloody hardwork supporting Wednesday atm. UTO!

I’d like Carvalhal if we ever get round to sacking LJ.
He was great for 1st 12 months, open, attractive, attacking football great to watch, then he went all defensive and we ground out another playoff finish, but his tactics cost us the semi final, the writing was really on the wall, before the horrible next 4 months, it was the right time for him to go BUT we needed his replacement to be the right man.
We got far from it an even more negative manager who wont (or maybe can't play his better players).

We need a new manager in now, but this time need to make sure we get the right man in, not sure who that is, but surely not many can be worse than Jos (including LJ).

Anyway back on topic, credit to Rotherham for trying to win the game and being the better of the 2 poor sides, think you'll be fine, you're better than Ipswich, Bolton and us (probably a few more) You just have to get the results to prove it.
I think you will.

What's the story behind the Rotherham chant that goes "Sausage **** Wednesday fan"?

We are really bad right now, clubs an absolute mess. AWO pretty much summed it up perfectly, the fans meeting with Chansiri later this month is going to be very interesting. need to get to the summer still a Championship club, sadly even losing all the high earners off the wage bill in the summer probably wont sort us out, this mess could take years to sort out. Jos started the season well, had us upper end of mid table which is a bit of over achievement with this squad, but it's quickly unravelled with a lot of senior player unrest, and bizarre team selections. I can't see a way he can keep the job at the moment in time, a defeat on Saturday surely has to be the end, which is a game too late imo.

They've even managed to balls up the fans forum, I'm lead to believe it's going to be in the same room, on the same day as Wheenie's wake and more or less straight after the wake, cue hundreds of Owls fans who have had a few bevvies in the room just prior to the forum commencing. Good luck with that Mr Chansiri.

Would sort you out. The football wouldn’t be pretty, but he’d definitely stabilise the club. Would have you around the play off spots maybe next season. He weren’t all bad at villa, and fixed some things within the club, but wasn’t the right man for the team we have.

Like SF said the other day I’m not sure Bruce would be interested with Wednesday’s budget atm. Jokanovic maybe SoutheySWFC? Again budget may be an issue...

No one with any credibility will take the job right now, anyhow it looks like Jos is still going to be in charge for a bit yet.

I don't give a fuck, unlike you weirdos in Brum who don't mind sharing players and managers we are a little less accepting.

Pig c***.

Been rotting for 20 years nowt new, I'd rather suffer than have one of their exes as manager.

True I prefer to term them shitstained scruffy scumcunts.

Post holiday blues, still wouldn't want an ex Blade as manager if I'd woken with a winning Euro millions ticket after being balls deep in Kelly Brook and Michelle Keegan all night.

Doesn't sit well with me. Though I think you not being a proper Brummie you don't get the actually inner city rivalries, I doubt any Bristol City fan would accept an ex Rovers boss.

One of the worst moments I've ever experienced when our fans sang that at your place. We've had a few ex Wednesday players and Wilson, can't recall any the other way round off the top of my head

I never pretend to hate blues. On the day of the game I do, but they were literally a non entity to me growing up. Being a non Brummie the dislike for them is nowhere close to Brummie villa fans. Proper northern choice of woman there too.
