Top versus third, second versus fourth. Good night's Championship football.

Would be nice to see Leeds turn over Wanknock. Especially as I think Sheff Utd might do one on us too.
As long as Our secondthird-favourite Leon doesn't score against us. Which he will. If we got Palace in the Cup, Wayne Hennessy would score a hat-trick against us.

Predict: 2-0 Sheffield United. I think we have a stronger team than the Blades, but we are due for a bit of a shock. We've won a few games against the run of play and taking advantage of errors. Premonition tells me it'll happen the other way around. Blades play 5 across the middle and we will need a different approach. Like several managers before him (partic Solbakken and Lambert), i don't think NES is able to mix it up and play a different game. Hope I'm proven wrong. But if not, well I hope Wilder gets MoM for September so they drop points in October.

Who is top of the Leon charts? Leon Robinson and Leons away supporters coaches?

Sheff Utd haven’t drawn for nearly 25 matches
So we are well overdue a draw.

My prediction 1-1, which would be decent result for both sides.

16 matches mate slightly under 25 however I'd be more than happy with a draw though.

If we play like we did vs Barnsley and Forest you'll be getting all 3 points.

Sounds good to me. Would be a truly amazing start if we win. 2nd place after 10 games including winning at the sty. Are you coming up mark?

Afraid not mate, working nights this week.

I reckon it will be a good game, 2 form team both going for the win I would guess. I'd be happy with a draw but were capable of winning so hopefully we perform how we can. Should be a good crowd/atmosphere as well after Sunday.

Blades 2-2 wolves (Clarke to score both for us). Att 26534 (2247 wolves)

Aye, would take a draw now too. Last few games we haven't been playing well and haven't deserved to win vs Forest or Barnsley. The key to stopping us seems to be crowding the midfield and stop Neves from dictating play. When he doesn't work his magic from midfield we don't function and don't really seem to have a plan B set up.

Crowding the midfield is something we do but not in a negative way as you may of seen yesterday. We will of built everything up for Sunday so hopefully we forget that and are fully concentrated on wednesday

Would happily take a draw. Would love to go up to Sheff as I unexpectedly have time...but alas no ticket.

I think this could be Blades season. But I suspect you might not be able to hold on to Wilder. Him and Christiansen must be on the radar of PL clubs....showing what they can do with very modest budgets. Credit to both of them.

Leon Best and Seat Leon Cupra.

Can't see wilder leaving for a stoke/west brom/Crystal palace type club tbh although I suppose a huge pay rise could turn it. If Leeds manager gets them up there is no point leaving for any other than the real big clubs but they don't give chances anyway to people like him. If we're still 2 points behind Leeds in May we will of had a remarkable season.

Fancy the wolves to do a job on the blades tonight. Should be a cracker with bramall lane bouncing(or maybe not)
2.1 to wolves.

Can't see him leaving you to be honest. Both you and Leeds seem to have decent men in charge, but it's still early days yet.

Man for man I think we have better quality players in every position to Sheff Utd... but so did Sheff Wed. I think if we underestimate them it will be our downfall. If we play aswell as we have in the first few games this season I will be confident, if we go there expecting to roll them over then we'll get a nasty shock.

Sundays game will see to it that you won't underestimate them. a point would be a good result for both clubs and us, but it's too early for all that shit.

Helder Costa starts, his first game in a Wolves shirt since April. With Jota along side him that is deadly.

SU are playing the same line up as Sunday.

It's a massively difficult match due to the after the Lord Mayor parade factor. I'm still walking around with a permanent grin and I'm not prepared for this match. The players will all get a heros welcome onto the pitch and weirdly are likely to be cheered off, even if we lose.

The players may well be ultra confident but could easily lose focus as they'll be a bit of a party mood.

I'll be happy with a draw but can Wilder motivate the team of heros who may still get in celebratory mood? Although Wilder seems to be an expert at getting his players mentally prepared every match.

Was gutted missing this considering I've never lived more than 12 mins walking distance from Bramall Lane in my 14 years of living in Sheffield, however now that it is pissing it down and we are down to 10 men, and deservedly so, I ain't so fussed.

Would take a point now as a great result.

The red has ruined our chances of winning now. Stupid of Coady to get sent off so early. Would defintely take a draw now.

1-0 and effectively game over. Coady has done well so far this season but he has cost us the game here. You can't play with 10 men for 75 mins and expect to get a result.

Yeah it's odd, I know it's harder during the game to make these decisions, but back your keeper there and at least let him try to get you out the situation being fecking over the teammates you are leaving to 75 minutes or a further uphill struggle than being away at home versus an in form team already was.

Apart from first 10 minutes of each half this has been a surprisingly one sided game.

Some of our football is sublime and we look a class above a really ordinary Wolves team.

Game over now at 2-0, apart from the missed penalty our goalie hasn't had 1 save to make.

You realise you're playing against 10 men right?

For all the years I have mocked Leon Clarke, it is finally coming back to haunt me.

Leon is generally crap but he gets all these clubs because he's capable of producing moments of class and he's generally wasted his talent because much of the he can't be arsed.

Maybe he's says this as his last chance to make a name because he really tries and looks a good player.

Made a big difference because in the 1st 10 minutes Wolves were lively and looked up for it. Definitely the better team.

Not taking anything away from your victory, but it's stating the obvious a bit saying you're the better team. You have played almost the entirety of the game with an extra man advantage, of course you will look better for it.

Wolves are slowly coming back into the game, no option but to be positive. United sitting back more but defending well. Goalie still not had to make a single save.
