Reading (A) - 2-1 loss.
Wolves (A) - 3-0 loss.
Derby (H) - 2-2 draw.
Stoke (H) 1-2 loss.
Norwich (A) - 2-0 loss.
Bolton (H) - 3-0 win.
Ipswich (A) - 0-2 win.

Decent end to an otherwise pretty miserable month.

Here in S6, we must be nearly a month behind everyone else as we haven't played any of our September games yet. (Though I see we beat the Blades 2-0 happy with that).
Why have
Forest h
Brentford h
Cardiff a
United h
Birmingham a
Not sure how they will play out, especially the 4th one, but they will be critical in deciding if Carlos still has a job at Hillsborough come October.
Hope he's still here and our Promotion ambitions are still intact.
2 tough looking away ones, all home games are winnable but knowing us also capable of losing any or even all of em.

I'm terrible at score predictions but here's what I reckon

Brentford (h) - 2-1 Win
Middlesbrough (h) - 2-2 Draw
Barnsley (a) - 1-1 Draw
Middlesbrough (h) (Carabao Cup) - 0-2 Loss
Nottingham Forest (h) - 3-1 Win
Burton Albion (a) - 2-1 Loss
Bolton (h) - 2-0 Win

On paper it is a complete contrast to last month, and this is probably the easiest set of fixtures we will have all season. Anything less than 4 wins will be disappointing I feel, really we should be winning all 6.

A huge month for us, as it is for most teams, but we need to start showing more quality if we are to compete this season.

Derby County 2 - 1 Hull City
Bristol City 1 - 1 Derby County
Derby County 2 - 0 Ipswich Town
Derby County 0 - 1 Birmingham City
Brentford 2 - 1 Derby County
Cardiff City 1 - 0 Derby County

Seven points from a possible 18. I hope I'm wrong.

Ipswich game has been postponed, so that we can play Barnsley in the League Cup.

Why arrogant, aren't those games winnable to you? I think we will slip up in one or two of them, but if we are serious about promotion these sort of games are what we should be looking at 3 points from.

Every game is winnable in the league for everyone, derby have a better team than us as did Brentford we beat them both. You have to be realistic, you won't win all 6, you didn't say you would like but Forest have made a good start, weve won all 3 home games and burton survive on home wins so straight away if I was a wolves fan that's 3 harder away games than it may 1st look.

I would take 3 wins last season, but if we look at every game like that then we may aswell accept we will finish mid table. On paper this is probably the easiest month for us so it's where I expect us to make the most ground. The next 2 months look difficult for us. We have already beat 3 promotion rivals in August, so I don't think it's arrogant to think of games like Burton away as winnable. Either way we wont win all 6 so it's a bit pointless all this.

Why on Earth did you choose us at home as a game you'd drop points on?
One of the few certainties in life is that Bristol City will lose when they play at Molineux

It's about time you get a result at Molineux, and to be fair you look decent so far, especially going forward.

Can't see us getting anything at Leeds, the others are all winnable but I'd take 5+ points given our extensive injury list.

I might swap the QPR and Sunderland result around, the rest looks about right and I'd be happy enough with it.

Toughest September in history goes to us:

Sheff Weds (a)
Sunderland (a)
Wolves (h)
Chelsea (a)
Villa (a)
Fulham (h)
Sheff U (h)

Then Derby straight after the international break.

Can't see more than about 4/5 points there. Think we can get some points from the home matches, can't see us getting anything on the road.

Good month for us so far, only defeat was a narrow one at Wolves. Still Barnsley at home to come to make it possibly an excellent month.

The Ipswich game was cancelled, so I predicted four points from 15 from the other games. We're currently on five points from 12, so even if we lose to Cardiff, I guess it's been a good month. :animatedf::brill:
