Enjoyed that episode. They seem to have tweaked the format a bit but it's none the worse for it. Looking forward to the TEN ROBOT MELEE.

Good final contest between Behemoth and Apollo. Difficult to know why the former's not performed better in the past. Good that the cluster bots* aren't coming back for the TEN ROBOT MELEE but not so good that the one with the drum is on account of the fact that the bloke at the controls seemed a bit of a tit.

*in fairness it was actually quite a decent effort so far as these things go but cluster bots are still rubbish, aren't they

Cluster bots could work if they all had a charged fly wheel weapon and could self right. Like four mini hypno-discs would be plain savage

I disagree with the legality of cluster bots. It's Robot Wars not Robots War.

Second episode was GREAT imvho. Do think it's kinda bullshit having three of last year's finalists (including the winner and runner up) in the same heat but it did make for good TV. Along with that other one who beat Aftershock there were four very good robots in that episode. Not sure about those entanglement devices though.

The gap may be narrowing but Carbide still looks to be the robot to beat...

Yeah it was brilliant. I was relatively impressed with Gabriel this time, very resillient against one of the most dangerous robots around. Shame it has virtually no attack.

A robot briefly taking off like a helicopter before the spinning arm breaks off and flies across the arena smashing bulletproof glass all over the trench protecting the audience - dramatic stuff! The arena has really been tested this series, every week something seems to happen to it.

Great for the school kids team making it through to the melee.

Yeah, Apex's exit was ridiculous/hilarious. Bit of a safety hazard that thing.

It was nice to see the school kids team progress and they seemed like a good bunch of lads/lasses, but the robot didn't actually really do anything, did it?! I've no problem with them advancing but it was almost as though they went through by default because the quality of the other robots was pretty poor, especially compared to last week where there were a number of big hitters. Didn't they used to seed the robots? Ought to do that again, really. In fairness, the two finalists were decent machines, but I'm not convinced Rapid is as strong a flipper as Apollo or Eruption. Was sort of rooting for Terrorhurtz in that contest.

The "fog of war" is pretty rubbish, isn't it?
