Ours is out tomorrow I think. Sam Russell, Dale Bennett, Keanu Marsh-Brown and Omar Bugiel have all confirmed their departures or already gone early in Bennett's case. Expect most of our out of contract players to go.

We tend to be very busy most transfer windows, so need to make a lot of space for new signings.

We've confirmed the release of John O'Sullivan.

Disappointing really, as although he put in a few poor performances at the end of this season, he put in some outstanding performances at other times. Inconsistent, yes, but his time with us has been blighted by injury which doesn't help with consistency, and you could always see there was something in there. He may have known his time was up for a few months and his recent poor performances looked more like those of a player whose heart wasn't in it than a player who lacked the ability. A shame really because he was one of those I was really expecting to kick on into something special this season, I'm sure he'll be worth a punt for any of the teams looking to challenge at the right end of the table next season though.

Ours is weird. We don’t have a manager in place for next season yet decisions are being made on who stays/goes.

Greg Taylor and Harrison Dunk have both signed new two year deals and Jabo Ibehre and David Amoo have both been given another year.

Joe Dunne confirmed as permanent head coach last week, so that's the really big question mark sorted out.

Uche Ikpeazu and Leon Legge confirmed as leaving the club, which only leaves question marks over David Forde/Barry Corr. I expect Forde to leave as he'll be on a big wage and hasn't even been in the squad for the last couple of games, and I reckon Barry Corr will definitely be offered something, possibly just a six month deal.

Fully expect Elito to be released, Billy Waters to return to Northampton and us to sign George Taft going into next season.

Things look pretty promising at the moment, just need to have a clever transfer window and we should be among the top 7 somewhere next season

Curle's supposed to be advising on it, but probably Nixon will just make his own mind up and ask Curle to confirm he agrees.

Yeah and Curle will probably be thinking about who he wants to take to his next job. Say he gets the Bury job, he’s bound to take Adams. Hopefully the club see sense when it comes to Adams, regardless what Curle advises.

I don't think he'd be as underhand as to recommend releasing players only to then sign them as soon as he takes up another job, as what he'd done would be completely obvious, not to mention he'd lose a lot of the goodwill which seems to have been one of the main reasons he decided to walk on his own terms.

With Carlisle now publicly announcing the release of Shaun Miller that'll be him signing a deal for us later this week I'd assume.

Can’t complain about ours. Most of the ones I wanted released have been. Adams has been offered a new deal, although I have doubts that he’ll accept.

Well I'm glad we're keeping the spine of the squad, though I know you wanted rid of Joyce. Offering them deals now means that we need to get a manager who can work with them, no point signing them up only for the new manager to come in and immediately pie them off.

Offering Adams the contract before he's resumed training following his injury might just swing it for us. He did already come out and say he wanted to stay so unless recent events have changed his mind, or he's signed a pre-contract somewhere because he got sick of waiting then I think he'll sign.

Interesting that we've offered Hill a new contract. I mean obviously we want to keep him, but the way he left the field on Saturday led me to believe that his move to Fleetwood was a done deal.

Hill has already rejected it. He’s announced on twitter.

The main reason I would have released Joyce was because I think our midfield needs more of a goal threat, particularly if our attack still remains shit. Kennedy and Etuhu both provide goals and are both still under contract but are crocks and will hardly play so the only player movable would have been Joyce. He’s reliable but as I say him and Jones don’t offer enough going forward.

I see Tom Miller is leaving Carlisle.

Think I'd have him back here as a back-up RB. Better than Long.

I think ours will be quite tough for Jolley to decide who to release as a few of them who a few weeks ago looked certain to be out of the door have now started playing like actual footballers.
After the Newport home game I never wanted to see Martyn Woolford in a Town shirt again it was one of the worst individual performances I'd ever seen, but since Wycombe away he's been fantastic and looks one of the best we've got now, even Nathan Clarke looks decent now too, bizarre how Slade signed them but they were utter shit under him, yet they start performing once he's fucked off.

So we are keeping the vast majority of the players that almost got us relegated. Fantastic.

Lainton, Barnett, Tongue, Pugh and Davis should have all been paid up and shipped out.

Hopefully that will come... as with last season ala Tavares, Kiko etc.
