Two shit sides who have had shit starts, and with the news of Smith becoming injured today to add to the ever growing list I couldn't be any less optimistic about anything regarding City atm.

Maenpaa
Hunt Wright Baker Kelly
Eliasson Pack Brownhill Paterson
Eisa Weimann

Change fucking anything and everything after that shambles on the weekend. If Webster starts and Eliasson doesn't I probably won't even bother watching it.

1-1 (Smith 13') (Weimann 76')

My first game of the season, so I am looking forward to it. The game is live as well I believe so your figure is probably about right.

Hall played 60 minutes today so won't play tomorrow, which is a shame as he is our best defender.

We will probably draw, which is shit for both teams which would be fitting for the shit starts. We really need a win though. We played well against teams in the friendlies, we played well against Sheffield United and Peterborough so hopefully WBA was a freak and we do okay again tomorrow.

I don't think Wright is fit, nor Baker.
Totally agree about Eliasson by the way, I see no reason why he was dropped.
Maybe, just maybe, I would play COD over Paterson but knowing Johnson, he'll probably play Pisano on the left wing! :told:
He seriously fell on his feet when he arrived at BCFC, totally bullet proof for some reason.

2-0 home win. We're shit! :(

If we don't have a massive improvement, I can see the fans turning really quite quickly against the team and hierarchy. If you guys start well, you could take us to the cleaners as morale is so low and the home fans will be on our teams back.

We aren't shit. Our record signing is suspended and we've got a lot of our defensive options out injured. Of course we're gonna find things difficult. Saturday wasn't much good but at least we created chances, better than looking totally devoid of ideas like we have in the past.

Hopefully we can grind out a result tonight and people will stop slitting their wrists. The mood around the club is like we are 20 points adrift at the bottom of the league. We are 3 games into the fucking season. Fed up with the over the top negativity coming from everywhere.

I thought we were dire on Saturday Luke, just my opinion. 'Boro scored 2 soft goals and sat back allowing us to look better. Personally, I thought it was an inept performance and 'Boro could have upped their game at any time they wanted.
Losing to 'Boro, I can accept, but the meek way we surrendered was 'shit' IMHO. I am concerned I will admit but we are where we are so the team and Management have my backing. I'm not a fan of Johnson as I've said before but he isn't going anywhere and, if I'm honest, I'm not sure all the issues surrounding recruitment are down to him.
I hope we win this evening, obviously, but can see a season of struggle awaiting us and said that during the summer so it's not a reaction to the results thus far. Let's hope I'm wrong.

That should silence the boo boys for a bit. Quality wise, the game was about as good as the Scottish Highland League but I think two players are going to save our season. Weimann and Lloyd Kelly. Gems in a squad of below average players.

Was about to say almost the same word for word.
Very impressed with Kelly and wow I was wrong about Weimann.
Never felt so underwelmed at a win. QPR are truly shit and 5 is a par score against that mob.

Won't silence them for long - play like that every week and we'll be on the end of some hidings.

Shan't moan as that's a big win but fuck me it was dire.

Pleased with that and I can't remember the last time we won 'ugly'. Yes, the R's are dreadful but a win's a win and it can only do our confidence the world of good.
I've got to give due credit to Eros who, I thought, looked decent at CB.
Bad news about Korey being out for 5 to 6 months. :(
Well done City and fair play to Joe Bryan who was in the away end.

If he makes the morning I’ll be surprised that was terrible. Started well for 20 minutes or so but after, sod all.

That was bad. We have changed chairman so if we get rid then I wouldn’t be surprised after that embarrassment.

We had no plan. You guys weren’t great but scored at a brilliant time and we came out (2nd half and you done all you needed to.

I’m glad I have a season ticket now.

Only seen it live but guessing it was coming too quick? He always wanted the ball andbtried to be positive but what can you do when you have players performing that bad around you.

He should have buried it TBH Matt but the guy who squared it to him should have shot rather than passed anyway.

Fair enough. Sounds about right, Washington has no confidence at all, he probably should have scored in the first half too.

I will watch the highlights later and depress myself a bit more.
