We should have Robinson back after the break, looks like Browne may have picked up quite a bad one tonight though on his ankle. May allow Potts to play centrally though where he looks much better.

This league is fucking bonkers, bar the top three who have been consistently better than the rest and the bottom 2 who are truly abject the remaining 19 are capable of runs of form.

There are likely 2 play off places available, though Boro have a chance to cut that down to one if they beat Bristol City in their game in hand but given recent form it's not a given.

Our run in means we've no chance of crashing the top six but if we keep going it could set us well for next season.

Villa are my tip to break the top six with Preston also in with a cracking shout, fair play to Alex Neil.

PNE surely can’t keep it up. 6 away wins in a row is just incredible really.

Villa are beginning to motor and have just got so much quality it’s ridiculous

Yeah, with the form Villa are starting to find, I'm really hoping we've got promotion secured before playing them on the final day, as having to beat them at Villa Park to secure promotion is an alarming prospect (even more so if a play-off place is on the line for them at that point).

Looks like PNE's and Villa's to lose at the moment.

We're playing well again which is promising, get Mount back after the break and we might just be able to stay in touching distance till the end.

There's some shite teams in this league.
I'm really please you appointed Frank, but even I struggle to believe that. Some how year after year Derby seem to throw it away.

It's actually quite impressive

Birmingham at home and Reading away next up.

Great chance, hopefully we can get a few players back by then, especially now Browne looks crunched after that snidey twat Besic left one on him. I see Pulis doesn't mention that one.

Blackburn home then a newly defensive Stoke, 4 points minimum needed to remain with an outside chance.....

1 defeat in 15 since JLos left but too many draws in that leaves it nigh on impossible, would need 7 wins from 9 left.

Dunno about the 7 wins from 9 bit, I think it might be a low points total this year.

Teams currently in 5th, 6th & 7th are dropping points left, right and centre.

Everyone seems to be playing each other too in this final run in.

We have Leeds, both Sheffield sides, West Brom, Birmingham & Brentford still to play.

73 points is what that form would get us can't see it being much lower..

Yeah, probably right, thought we were on the same amount of points.

Think 73-76 might do it this year.

Thought our hopes would be over after last night, now I'm all excited ffs. Why do they do this to us only to draw against Brum on Saturday and lose 1-0 at Reading :(

Dunno like, we’ve made them 3 times out of the last 5 years. One of the times we missed out was on the last day of the season... we generally do compete to get in them. We even compete for at least one of the play off legs too! Just normally throw the second.

This years a bit different with a million teams chasing though, not just two or three. It’ll be tough to make them.

I'll try with you instead then, £100 you dont get in playoffs.?

They don't put their money where their mouths are though BM89
I got sick of listening to a group of them pre season in 2017 after we got promoted. They were talking about how United would never survive in the Championship and what a shock we're going to get.
They shut up pretty quickly when I put £500 on the table and said "Here's £500, I bet United don't go down, anyone want to match it"

Ah fair shout. Do you normally drop from top 2 down to the bottom 6 though?

For some reason I always get the feeling you're doing quite well until the 35 game mark & suddenly it all goes to pot

Based on this moment who will be the two teams promoted and the four that will reach a playoff placement according to you?

We did in 14/15 which is where it all started really and any bad run this time of year gets referenced to that and 'it's happening again'. That was a bad one though, top of the league in March to finishing 8th come May...

There seems to be a consistent bad run every year in Feb/March which is where you probably get that idea. We finished last season alright and hopefully we'll do the same this year, the last 2 or 3 games we've had we've played well.

Good. I quite like Derby but I’m especially pleased you appointed Frank Lampard. We need more English managers coming through & unfortunately a lot of the championship is becoming quite like the Prem these days in appointing foreign managers

Think we've done ourselves in. Ipswich were prime for a beating yesterday but watching the game you wouldn't know who was the team who needed the win and who was the one basically relegated. They could have won 3 or 4 goals to 1.

Pfftttttt!

Mixed bag of remaining fixtures for us, play 3 of the top 4, Wednesday at home and a few strugglers in Wigan, Reading and Ipswich. Brentford away on the final day. I'm just hoping this international break doesn't fuck our momentum.

We were 18th in mid-January haha.

Sheff Utd and Leeds at home followed by West Brom away in the space of a week is massive. I feel more confident of taking 3 points in any of them games though than I do in Reading away. We need results in them games aswell because it's nailed on that after them 4 games Pearson will have another suspension to serve.

Are they wiped out for the play-offs?

Unbelievable that we can't expect a professional player to go eight games without picking up three bookings. The fact he was booked at Boro for gobbing off is pathetic.
