He decides to push his head back into Brisley's rather than going down. I don't think either of them really needed to be sent off mind, to be honest.

Don't really know why you lot are keeping on about it, to be honest. The officials managed to completely ruin the tie between them, but the result isn't going to change. Go out and get pissed or something.

Saving my £££ for the beer next week in the Green man.

Hope any Coventry fans that were in the notorious Meadow Lane Kop made it out alive.

If there were any in there they
kept their heads down and didn't make a sound. I saw a handful get turfed out of the Pavis stand, where our old boys sit, but that was it among the 13,000+ home fans, despite the warnings of some Cov fans.

Anyway, Cov were fantastic for 40 mins, the best I've seen by some distance this season, yet were rocking by the hour mark. Burge (thought he was meant to to be crap!) makes a wonderful save from Stead, who perhaps should have scored, then moments later Forte *does* score to make it 2-2 and suddenly there's only one team you fancy to win it... oh.

I don't blame the other Lino for missing the offsides in the build ups to Cov's winner, we're talking millimetres, but Forte's was unforgivable, such a crucial and obvious one to get wrong. I suspect that linesman may find himself on his local park come next August, but equally there is every chance he'll get promoted to the PL/championship.

Biamou took his two goals well however, and McNulty is a class above for this level, as obviously is Bayliss. Cov clearly too big for L2, I'd be surprised if they don't overcome Exeter tbh.

As for us, big summer ahead. Plenty to be cheerful about, not least the aforementioned huge home turnout and the fact the buzz is most definitely back for a lot of fans. Onwards and upwards!

Surprised if they don't overcome us? Why?
The final is too close to call. Yes Cov looked good going forward but our defence is strong and we are capable of scoring goals from anywhere.
Dont write us off so easily...

Spot on mate, it is a toss of a coin, bookies won't be able to call it.
After all it is only 2 weeks ago they couldn't beat Morecambe
Good luck to both teams and it would be good to see Fulham, Shrews and Exeter go up as the top placed teams, usually a team in 6th or 7th 18 points behind will go up .

Unlucky County.

Coventry were the better side but it be impossible to not feel hard done by due to dodgey decisions.

It’s really annoying watching the play-offs because under Evans we were a better side than all 4 teams on display and if we didn’t get automatic I would of been really confident of winning. (Strictly under Steve Evans and not Flipflop)

Next season will see the full extent of Flitcroft’s fuckwittery. Be an interesting game at the CG - if he’s still in charge by then.

Coventry fully deserve to progress but certainly was plenty of controversy, that said County defended poorly last night and easily could of conceded another two or three especially first half so decisions aside they needed to be better defensively too.

Great first goal for Coventry by Biamou and McNulty was a class above anyone on the pitch first half.

Very tight final to call, Coventry are a bit Jekyll and Hyde and are a young side who may get daunted, Exeter are capable of a shocker out of nowhere so will be intriguing to see how it pans out.

Good to see Coventry fans have something to shout about after an awful decade or so.

Unlucky County have battled hard to get where they have, possibly a model for us to look to in terms of how they’ve turned their fortunes around after a poor season last year. Other than Dan Jones obviously feel for the rest of the ex Valiants contingent.

Surprised, and happy, that nobody has banged on about VAR for these high stakes games.

Burge and others were brilliant last night. Just when you write Lee Burge off, he turns in a brilliant performance.

I think Nolan’s question about why these ties have been given to two sets of League Two officials is a fair one, rather than asking about VAR. The season’s over elsewhere and there’s Premiership and Championship officials sitting about not doing anything whilst Gavin Ward and Darren Drysdale are left to bollocks up the two biggest games of the season.

The save from Stead was incredible, was right behind it and it looked in all the way.

Coventry were superb last night, looked a cut above going forward. County had a good spell and should’ve been level but Coventry took advantage, McNulty ran the match and the young lads looked very decent.

Tough final to call, guessing most people will want Exeter to go up due to distance.

Wembley. Too easy for us last night. Exeter should be tough but we will win!

I was laughed at but as usual DH84 is right.

Damage was done. He managed to ostracise players, divide the squad and alienate the fan base with the, mostly, shite offered up on match days.

Exactly what he appears to be doing at your gaff, too.

It’ll be interesting to see the reaction him and big foot will get at GL if they are still in charge.

Best to loved and lost than never loved at all. Surely it’s better to get in the play offs and lose than choke horribly and not even make them?

Swindon slowed down a little after Flipflop left, Stags jammed on the handbrake

Or you could view it that we got into the club, had some drinks, danced a bit , had some fun then got blown out by a young lady. Rejected , but decent night.

Whereas you got stopped by the bouncers on the door. “Not today lads”
