I'm going to be throwing Solihull and Torquay wins into my bet as I can see them both winning.

The rest are all quite tough to call.

Not sure how we'll approach Barrow, I was annoyed that Mondays game was called off for us, hopefully our pitch has benefited from sunshine all week. We're a bit hot and cold and I see Barrow have Grant Holt, he's probably shit now but he will score against us, he ALWAYS scores against us whether he played for Rochdale, Forest or Norwich, EVERY season he scored against us.

According to the Barrow fans he's well past his best now.

Can we revoke Orient's brotherhood card, this is an appalling lack of solidarity :dis:

We can't be as bad as we were against Guiseley, drop Rodders for Oates and play Donnelly even if he has to hobble around on one fit leg, certainly be miles ahead of Louis Laing.

One win should be enough, let's do it Saturday so we can have a boring end to the season for a change.

Dagenham/Boreham Wood double for me. I think we’re a little short at 6/5 but after reading that Sutton are travelling down on the day of the game it could turn out to be a really good price.

Orient are ranking people’s non league predictions and crowning a tinpot champion so looks like they’ve voluntary departed the brotherhood leaving only 3 proper members behind. Forget about them, they’ve assimilated their surroundings and feel more at home. To quote a Russian proverb, ‘everyone wanks how they want’. Too true.

Oates will always start ahead of Rodders as I make my return to the comforts of the Town End. Laing will keep his place, he’s shite and I think the club know that but are trying the arm round shoulder approach which has helped his form but dear god what in the name of fuck did he do against Guiseley.

Early start for us and a long trip down south for the televised game at Ebbsfleet. Should be a lively game, I can't call which way it will go but hoping for a Silkmen win. At least if everything goes to plan, we won't have to go anywhere near Kent next season.

Not sure if I want us to send Chester down or not. It'll be bittersweet at best, nobody likes to see real fans suffering. I'll still be there, sod it...

Rovers should beat a struggling Chester, with their off-field issues, but both recent Cheshire derbies at the Deva have seen only narrow wins for Rovers, while the Cestrians grabbed a point at Prenton Park earlier in the season, though their excellent keeper from that game has moved on.

Thinking the spoils may be shared at Fylde and Ebbsfleet. At the other end of the table, the games at Guiseley and Hartlepool are hard to call, a Pools win should almost secure their NL future.

IF Rovers beat Chester, think either Barrow or Solihull have to win to send them down. Can't see Barrow winning, Solihull maybe. I don't want them to go down, but it's sadly inevitable.

While ideally we should be looking to win this, We can’t afford to lose basically. I think a draw keeping the 7 point gap will probably be enough with 5 games leftfor them. Can’t ever be happy drawing at home to Solihull but got to be realistic about where we’re at now.

To be fair to Laing he had a decent 93 minutes, he just totally shit the bed in his attempt to clear the ball, a moment of madness that depressingly probably doesn't even make top three Pools errors for season 17/18.

He used to always cause us problems and thought he was bound to score when we played them for his 1st match but he's not much to worry about.

Huge and tough week ahead for us, two away games against teams fighting for playoff places where I'd happily take a win and a loss if offered now. Kent hasn't been a happy hunting ground for us this year and we are back down again against the most in form team in the league. Could really do with Durrell back from injury about now!

I too would rather not be the club that send Chester down as I have enjoyed the rivalry over the last 3 seasons (if not some of the football especially that 0-0 at our place this season caused by Chester`s park the bus tactics and the performance of their now departed goalkeeper) but sadly it looks like they will not be in this league next season (not for one moment hoping that we will be as well). Just hope their finanical problems are sorted out because no fan deserves to see his/her club go bust, reform and move back up the pyramid only for it to happen again. Unfortunately many of our fans do not feel the same way and should it happen tomorrow I just hope we show more class than Bradford City`s fans did at Prenton Park 5 years ago when any neutral would have thought they had won the Champions League at the final whistle such was their wild totally over the top celebrations...something that I hope we have the great pleasure of revenging some stage further down the line.

Having said all that we need the points and I`m pretty certain we will get all three if we perform as well as we can do although how a 2 week break will effect our players remains to be seen. Will they be refreshed ready for the final push or stale due to lack of match practise? That is the question. Either way we should be good enough to defeat a, by all reports, on their knees, given up for the season Chester side in a stadium two sides of which will be packed with Tranmere fans ( with quite a few more tresspassing in the home areas by all accounts). By how many remains to be seen.

I can’t buy into this sentiment. I hope Chester stop running themselves into the ground financially, however it would be amusing if we were the ones to relegate them. They’ll be trying everything to “ mess up” our promotion bid and take every bit of satisfaction if they do so.

What a sad attitude. It'll effectively be a home game for you tomorrow, as you'll outnumber the home support by a factor of 2-3. Frankly, we're resigned to Conf North and have been for some time. Whilst having enjoyed being in the same league again as Tranmere (just like the old days), your thrill at sending us down will be lost on most home fans, and will only confirm what most think of you. Now if it was Wr*****, then that would be a different matter!

Can't see him playing for Dover again. doesn't get on the bench anymore, probably not allowed to play against you anyway.
maybe training with tranmere instead of the 3 evenings a week we do?

I agree totally with you on that one. Very little would give me greater pleasure. Like you, undoubtedly, I am not exactly a great lover of our ovine loving "friends" shall we say.

You celebrated a 0-0 Draw like you had won the league whilst we were in our lowest ever league position, spare me the histrionics.

I couldn’t care less what happens to Chester on the football pitch, only interested in us getting 3 points.

Not sure of Torquay’s away from, but they will have done well to get a point at ours.

Last 4 away matches.... L 0-1 at Maidstone... W 1-0 at Leyton Orient..... D 1-1 at Solihull... and W 2-0 at Chester....

So, not too shabby.... and it was at Crabble last season we desperately needed a win....and got it!

At this point we need every point going, so I won't be too dis-pleased with a draw.... a loss and it makes the Great Escape Episode 3 virtually impossible.

A few weeks ago I was resigned to the fact that we'd be relegated by now. However, recent form has seen us pick up 10 points from a possible 12.

Cue a 7-0 drubbing tomorrow.

To be fair, two of those games were against sides that are probably going to go down with you, One was against possibly the worst Orient home performance I’ve ever seen and the other one was a good result at Solihull.

We were shite at Maidstone, admittedly, but we battled for that win at Brisbane Road (despite protestations from many O's saying they were shite that night). We really should have won the game at Solihull and the Chester game just proved that we can actually play and hold on for a win on occasions.... yep, to be fair, we will probably/definitely go down this year (much to BT2Fs amusement *insert dancing banana smileything*) but I hope we go down with a fight....

I'm sure that in 20 years time some Tranmere fans will still be rambling on about this. In times where money is hard it's nice to see some heads are allowing us rent free accommodation, evidence aplenty tomorrow. ;)
