He wasn’t in our squad today. Apparently he was watching Orient up at Fylde. He doesn’t want to commute far (hence he turned down Sutton). I imagine he’ll sign for them

We are just crying out for another forward.

Kedwell needs some support. We might be doing a bit better if we had it!

That would suprise me a bit, because that would leave us with 5 strikers, as we already have:

Macauley Bonne
Matt Harrold
Dan Holman
David Mooney

However, I would be very suprised if Bonne is still with us come August next season, because he deserves a move to the league again and has been our player of the season. Cheek would be a very good player to have should he sign for us at this level, it would almost certainly be a signing looking towards next season. We haven't even put Sam Ling on the bench yet FFS because our squad is so big.

Mind you, David Mooney has been crap for us this season, so we could be looking to offload him..................

Cheek would be good for you. Not sure how true the rumour is but I reckon it has some substance. You, Ebbsfleet or Boreham Wood I reckon. Can’t see it being anybody else

Oh bollocks, I'd forgotten Jennings is at Tranmere, that's at least 2 we'll need to score on Tuesday then.

Sorry but I don't classify any wins at this level 'great' especially against such woeful opposition like we had today and in fact for most of the season, just we're so horribly mismanaged on and off the pitch and that's what's sad.

3 points makes no difference to us, still going down.

Don 't be such a drama queen.
There's no chance you'll go down unless you get a points deduction.

Andrew Miller the ref, absolute whopper, one of the worst I've seen.

Funny how you can go far and wide looking for players and we end up with two Blacon lads in the heart of the midfield. Completely bossed it as well.

you have players from blacon, no wonder you stole 22500 off us in midweek sorry mate xx

They've been full- time for ages now haven't they?

We were dogshit against a very physical Hartlepool side. Should have had a red card in the first couple of minutes for a studs up on the ankle late challenge. 3rd goal was a foul on our keeper as well. WE GO AGAIN.

Disagree on the third goal, your keeper totally flapped at it and was nowhere near the ball, Oates just flicked it over his head.

Makes a change to see us stick to boot in yesterday, we normally let teams walk all over us, the inclusion of Luke George added some much needed needle to the game.

I’m sure yesterday was just an off day for Woking, that Grego Cox looks like a great player, was just lacking any sort of support yesterday.

Are you trying to join Tranmere in the refs-hate-us-plucky-nonleague-giant brigade?

We were dire , end of ................... the rock solid defence we once had has gone awol, and no strength on the bench
we will limp to the end of the season , the current tally of 51 point should ensure we are here again next season

One point of Interest ,our man in charge Chis Kinnear will manage he 1500 game next Saturday

Yeah - He does look decent. We were terrible defensively though, as we always are away from home.

We have had some shocking decisions this year! As has everyone probably though.
Worst is 2 seperate times when the opposition keeper has just dropped the ball from a corner under no pressure and got a free kick.
At least we managed to get the shit red card from last week rescinded.

Was it you lot that had a goal disallowed last season when your player ran onto a clear back-pass and got flagged offside?

Just seen Macclesfield's penalty and have no arguments with that, the only thing is whether Evans should have been sent off. Hard to tell whether he fell into the Macclesfield player (which would be an accidental foul and therefore a yellow under the new double jeopardy laws) or whether he deliberately pulled their forward down and therefore it is a red.

Macclesfield can't have any complaints with our penalty either

Leyton Orients pen against us looked outside the box from watching the highlights. Hard to tell from where i sit. Not that it matters really, they deserved to win

That was our best win of the season against a dog shit of an Eastleigh team. It's probably a bit too late, but that was the best we've played in 15 months. The midfield of Mahon, Crawford, Roberts and Vose was superb. A good portion of the dross McCarthy signed have been shipped out. Even Halls had a excellent game today. Can't wait for Tuesday. Cresswell should have been sent off twice, that's how poor the referee was.
Dom Vose will be good for a couple of games before going back to being the lazy fuck who can't be arsed to run.
Complete wasted talent.

Saw something last night which suggested several Orient players are on £1.500 plus bonuses. Their turnover is a lot lower than ours, are they being bankrolled or is that another bubble waiting to burst?

It's looking like the best possible outcome for us will be 1 relegation. We certainly won't be playing in this league next year that's for sure.

Yeah, never a foul that. None of the Woking players appealed either, and all looked quite embarrassed when the keeper was shouting after the ref. Agree though that Laing could quite easily have been sent off early on. Would have been a cracking tackle if he got the ball.

Quality finish from Greco-Cox. He looks tidy. He's quality on footy manager too. Signed him in the conference and he's currently worth 3 million in the Championship for me. Second top scorer (behind Jonathan Franks!)

Think it's cause he's pulling him back (as a result of falling over) so not an attempt to get the ball. He probably should've been booked after 15 seconds anyway!

Pilks arm is definitely up for the handball, would've thought he'd be experienced enough to not do that in the box.

.

We had him a couple of weeks back and I concur with your assessment of his refereeing abilities. He made so many mistakes in the game I saw. He even got the basics wrong including one where Andy Mangan, if I remember rightly, had a shot that was travelling about 6 inches to a foot above the ground, was blocked by a defender making it zoom up high into the Kop and Mr Miller gave a goalkick. The ball obviously defied the laws of gravity in the mind of the hapless whistle blower.

We seem to have him regularly and I'm yet to see him have a good game. Constant bad decisions for both sides that prevent any decent flow in a game. Too whistle happy on top of that.

If it was outside the box, the ref could easily have given a red card for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. Which would you rather have had?

Think that was Simeon Lucas in the Maidenhead game? Mr Miller was in the middle at Wrecsam and gave them a debatable penalty but one or two other dubious decisions our way. Mr Miller was dire in the game at York last season when Jeff Hughes was sent off and Brodie got away with everything.

I wonder if league leaders have ever gone into a game this far into the season at 3/1 as Macclesfield are tomorrow. Cold hard statistics do point to us making it 10 wins in a row at home but football doesn’t always work like that.
