This weekend's fixtures probably deserve an earlier start than usual:

AFC Fylde vs. Leyton Orient
Aldershot Town vs. Macclesfield Town
Boreham Wood vs. Gateshead
Chester vs. Eastleigh
FC Halifax Town vs. Ebbsfleet United
Guiseley vs. Maidenhead United
Hartlepool United vs. Woking
Maidstone United vs. Barrow
Solihull Moors vs. Dover Athletic
Sutton United vs. Wrexham
Torquay United vs. Dagenham & Redbridge
Tranmere Rovers vs. Bromley

I don't really think it needs much of an intro; 2nd vs. Top, 4th vs. 3rd, 5th vs. 8th.

Go.........

Aldershot will out-football Macc, I can see another Fylde type drubbing there.

Tranmere will win 4-0, anything else is unthinkable. Oh and Sutton will plastic-pitch us to death.

Orient will beat Fylde. NLP headline will read “Bonne Beserk!”

“Football will be the winner” in Aldershot vs Macclesfield as a bore draw is played out.

Sutton v Wrexham will finish with four red cards and two penalties in the game.

200 fans will watch Boreham Wood Win 1-0.

Tranmere will thrash Bromley 1-0 with approximately 37 shots on goal.

About all the national league stereotypes sorted.

Solihull in a bit of form? So tough for Dover, but with Dagenham to pay at home Tuesday we could be right back up there [somehow]

Everybody also playing Tuesday, Aldershot top, Tranmere 2nd by then i reckon

They do love putting Orient in general (and Bonne in particular) on the front cover. We are a MASSIVE DEAL to be fair.

We will not beat Fylde and their hefty bankroll.

I expect us to lose but maybe not in Fylde style. With the Tuesday fixtures too there could be like 1 point separating the top 6!

Plus Danny Whitaker is sure fire to score on his 876,283rd appearance.

Hope you win.. would much rather “chase” Macclesfield than Aldershot.

I don't remember Aldershot being up to much in the reverse fixture but that was a long time ago, they are a clearly much improved side and in great form. We'll have to be much better than we've been in a long time to be in with a sniff of getting anything from the game and can see a mirror of the home game with it ending 2-0.

I think we could sneak a point on Saturday and hopefully a repeat of the trophy semi final 2nd leg on Tuesday night. Then again we could be looking at 2 Fylde-Esque results either way as long as people keep writing us off, all's good

If we win our next two games it will put us right in the mix with the top teams playing each other for the next couple of weeks. Think we’ll beat guiseley away but think we’ll draw against Leyton Orient on Saturday. They played well at their place and I’m surprised they are were they are in the league

We had a lot of the ball after gifting you a first minute goal if I remember, but lacked a cutting edge and you killed us off early 2nd half. We werent good that day but we were at the end of our injury crisis then and had 4/5 players lacking match sharpness so you probably had us at a good time.

As for Saturday I think you'll do what most teams do this season and find a way to stop us. Also your keeper will end up being booked for time wasting at some point!

Reckon draws at Fylde and Sutton. A win for Aldershot and a win for Tranmere.

Bromley have stuck around the top half of the table and will be awkward opponents this weekend. You might expect Cook/Norwood v Dennis/Rees to be a high scoring game, but think things will be quite tight in this game, which Rovers need to win.

In an ideal world Macc would get a couple sent off for inflicting season-ending injuries on Shots players, but as Macc tend to play more like angels, expecting a fairly comfortable home win. No idea what will happen on the SW London plastic, but can see Orient taking something back from the trip to Fylde

This could be our toughest game in quite a while, Bromley are in good form. 3rd highest scorers in the league vs 2nd highest... cue a 0-0 draw!

A draw a Fylde will be a good result, considering they've battered Tranmere and Macclesfield at home in recent weeks I thoroughly expect the same thing to happen to us with our backline currently very shakey. Rowe will probably reach 20 goals by 5pm Saturday.

Going forward we will create chances, usually always do. But at the moment, we seem to be relying on alot of luck to be winning games.

Our best performace so far this year I thought was at home to Aldershot and we lost 3-2.

I'd expect a few changes to our lineup, with us playing Chester as the midweek game which will be vital to our season.

Looking forward to visiting GGL again! Sutton were pretty poor in the reverse fixture, and but for some terrible finishing and composure from Massanka we should have seen them off comfortably; then Lafayette (I think?) scored a worldie at the end.
Hopefully a long midweek trip to Barrow has taken it out of them - quietly confident we can get something out of this game.

Big weekend for many here - I would expect Tranmere to thrash Bromley. Tranmere looked well organised last week in the 1-1 at our place, whereas Bromley, despite somehow winning 0-1, looked very poor, we had 10 men for 80 minutes and were all over them.

Don't really mind what happens at Fylde, could be anything really. I wonder which Fylde will show up - the ones who picked Macclesfield apart, or the ones who could beat Chester at home?

Torquay vs Daggers is a very interesting fixture. If the Daggers lose again it might actually drag them into a relegation battle.

Never thought I'd see the day that I was looking forward to us playing Macclesfield.
Biggest game of the season for us so far and starts off a week that'll make or break our season. Should be a decent home crowd too.
It'll be a tough game and I swear we always lose to Macclesfield, but I fancy us to do the business tomorrow - 2-0 win and top of the league at 5pm will do nicely.

If we lose this we are in it, although we really only need two wins I don't see where they will come from. Lost last 4 straight and only won 1 in 10.

Corey Whitely has signed for Ebbsfleet too, £15k which is a bargain if last seasons player turns up. Last one out turn off the lights.

Getting less confident as it gets closer, so hopefully just staying quiet before the game will mean plenty to shout about afterwards.

The next 5 days are absolutely huge for all involved. I thought we'd struggle with the pressure at home vs. Wrexham & Sutton around Xmas but we came through those looking like we fully deserve to be where we are now. Just hoping we can rise to the occasion again. We need everything to go right, especially taking the chances that come our way. Not felt this nervous about Macc for a long long time.

We've played AFC Fylde 3 times this season and are yet to lose to them.

When we played Bromley last season at home we played a 4-2-4 with Ben Tollitt on the wing, absolutely destroyed them for the first 50 minutes of that game. The football was so good it could have been a championship team vs non league opposition. That was until the referee got involved to claw back a 2-2 draw in one of two similar games (the other being Chester) that most fans look to as where the 4pts we missed out on the title by were lost.

Some “revenge” for that tomorrow wouldn’t go amiss.

We struggle against any side that is well organised, sits everyone behind the ball and plays for a point. For whatever reason we never seem to be able to break them down. We only have one way of playing, it doesn’t change at home/away or in respect of the opponent. We get the ball down and play. We always perform better against sides that also do that. When we lined up against Macclesfield I thought Christ these are the only side I’ve seen this season that are similar height to us so they also have to get the ball down and play. Even at 5 nil down they continued to do that. Like us they can’t go long and hit some big dopes head like Denton.

There is no play B, earlier this season and especially in the previous division we were crying out for some height and physical attributes but chally continued with the midgets and his way of playing football and I applaud him for that. Aldershot earlier in the season played football and rightly beat us but teams like Chester, Halifax, Salford we always struggle against

I would imagine you'll raise your game against us tomorrow as well. We'll probably be bringing around 400 fans as its a new ground, plus you raised your game against us back in September and played the game like a cup game!

As I said, we do leak goals for fun, it could end up 4-4 or you'll beat us 6-0 like Macclesfield.

Should be an easy three points for Woking, we’ve only got 12 fit players for tomorrow according to the Hairy Biker.
