We welcome Halifax for our first meeting for 15 years. Last time out we won 3-1, which effectively sealed Halifax's relegation that season.

I remember our 1-0 home win back in October 1998 when it poured down with rain and Kieron O'Reilly wanted the game off, the pitch was bordering on unplayable. I've got some pictures here somewhere of that game................

We will be without Josh Coulson, so Jamie Sendles-White will get his first start after a year out with a serious injury.

I can see Davis making a few changes here, expecting Alex Lawless and Matt Harrold to both get starts in place of Mooney and Ochieng.

Our second half performance on Saturday was very poor, we struggle to break sides down who sit deep with everyone behind the ball.

As always, I'm interested to see how we cope at home. So far we've played Ok at home without hitting the big heights.

Hartlepool play like turds all season then the next minute they win 3 in a row and are the form team of the league just as they come to us, typical.

Our recent good run has coincided with two up top. However, I fully expect us to leave Denton up front on his own and attempt to shithouse our way to a point. It won't be pretty.

Our forward line consists of a 17 and 19 year old, whilst both show signs of talent they are both very raw and learning game by game, we played Maidstone and they made it look easy, we then played Dagenham and they had a much tougher time of it, with us only scoring on the break, our upturn in form coincides with us signing two loanee centre backs in Watson and Ledger replacing the two Keystone Cops we had playing the first 6-7 games, two clean sheets and one conceded in the last three and a lot better performances.

I'd be very happy with a point tomorrow but I don't think we have enough in attack to trouble you.

Very intriguing battle at Holker Street tomorrow: two teams down at the bottom, who both expected to be doing a lot better. Perhaps most significant is that their manager knows our players better than our own manager does.
Cox will do what he did in his early days at Barrow, concentrating all his efforts on having a solid defence to build upon. I can see it being very frustrating for the Barrow forwards, who have one goal between them so far. We're injury hit, so not sure what our back four will look like, but I'm hoping we have just enough to squeeze a goal from a set-piece to snatch a win.

We'll do better than Shuddersfield did in those ends tonight. If we don't it'll ruin my birthday.

Welcome to the Conference North. This is Billy Heath's North Ferriby team mixed with our relegation team from 2016. Still, last time we conceded an away goal was over 7 and a half games ago, so you'll probably run riot.

By the way, it was Darlington who sealed our relegation in 2002, (5-0), and Hereford in 1993. Does anyone know what happened to them? Mwah haha ha.

Sutton at home should be three points if you want out of this league but they're certainly a better outfit this season. We only got a point from them last season.

Weather looks atrocious from about 8pm so could be a lottery. Take a tight win from this and move on.

Our trip to Maidenhead is a clash of the inconsistents, going for a draw. Interesting to see whether Mellon sticks with the forward pairing that finished v Barrow or starts with leading scorer Andy Cook, who he doesn't seem to rate. With McEveley out, some re-shuffling at the back, would like to see Evan Gumbs start, but Buxton moving into the back three or reverting to a back four are options.

We have all but two back from injury now apparently, so should see us tighten up a little at the back.

Going for a 3-1 win.

Just kidding. Draw.

We need to be beating Solihull Motors if we're going to avoid relegation. Hopefully we can out-luck them.

Tough home game for the Os who, as every Orient fan knows, haven't actually played brilliantly over any one 90-minute spell yet. Frankly, I'm amazed we're in the play-off places given our performances so far, but with 6 points separating 1st from 19th (Hartlepool, lol) the table's pretty meaningless at this point in time.

Fully expecting a draw tonight. Halifax are flying, with 13 points from a possible 15, and strong on the road to boot, but we're not bad at home and surely a response is required after that shabby display at boringwood.

1-1 (Bonne)

Having spent the last 12 months on the Conference North forum, I appear to have missed the departure of the magnificent Gary Hill-
1) What's happened to him?
2) What the hell were you thinking?

Thanks :dk:

I'd be very happy with a point tomorrow but I don't think we have enough in attack to trouble you.

Interesting to see whether Harrison opts for the same line up again tonight. Both Simpson and Rodney took knocks on Saturday (or went down with cramp) so he may want to rest one or both of them. Wouldn't be surprised to see Oates and Donaldson come in as direct replacements, or at least be fairly early subs.

I'd personally like to see us try and attack Wrexham tonight. They haven't scored many, so doesn't sound like they are too attacking. Think Watson/Ledger and co can keep them down to a minimum of chances.

It's maybe time to go for a bit of creativity in midfield. Put Munns or preferably Deverdics in there (if Adams is fit) and give Hawkins and/or Woods a rest for Saturday.

Saying that, this is probably the most nailed on 0-0 of the season so far

I totally didn't realise Gravesend had drawn all but one of their games this season (you're welcome, by the way).

A totally uninteresting game for us down in Southampton. against the division's other draw specialists. We'll probably lose though.

No .... the time when you'll have to start worrying is if you don't beat us on 3/10/17
