Orient equalise. Contender for the worst goal ever
Just seen it on BT's Daggers-Shots coverage. May be one of the worst we've ever conceded. Should never, ever have gone in - I love Davies, but he needs a talking to for that, as do the defence.

A good draw, but as of tomorrow it will be 3 months since our last league win

Poor performance and poor result. Disappointing.

Need to go and get something at Sutton now! Will have to play a lot better than we did today.

That should dampen down the giddiness of those who got all excited and thought we would win this league. We hardly tested their keeper, he was pretty much perfect from every cross that came in, he claimed everything.

The Rutherford thing was weird, we had him lined up to be subbed and then during the break in play he got himself sent off, we almost re-started the game with 11 players on. Ref was clueless as to what had actually happened even though it was obvious.

If Denton wasn't the biggest donkey of all time, we could have lost that too. He missed 2 clear chances from about 4 yards out combined where it was actually a feat to get the ball over the bar instead of the open goal.

Routine win in the end but the players needed a rocket from Askey at half time to wake them up. Dreadful first half where a bit of an error by Jalal gave Guiseley the lead. Second half was much better and we scored twice, could have been more. Guiseley are a very low quality outfit and Coddington kept them in it in the second half. For us Nathan Blissett put in a good striker's performance and looks the type of player we've missed in previous seasons.

Nicw to finally get the luck go our way for once at Wrexham. Garner a good way offside for our goal.

That's nothing, he got one round the post from the goal line against Orient. :bdick:

A hard earned point that for both sides today in difficult conditions on a boggy pitch, Second half the game opened up more towards the end.

George Elokobi gave Tranmere three clear chances in the second half, two of which came at 1-1 when we was in control of the game. Going forward we caused Tranmere problems all game I thought, but overall they defended fairly well - They seemed very wary of the pace of our front four.

But once again, we keep making individual errors at the back, I nearly put my fist through my seat in the last minute when our crap offside trap was exposed and Cook forced a good save from Brill. Brill actually made 4 crucial saves in the second half as Tranmere capitalised on our individual mistakes.

Having said that, Bonne, Holman and Brophy gave their backline a torrid time I thought.

Happy with a draw, hope Tranmere go up this season from what I've seen they'll be in the playoffs at the very least.

A special shout out to the linesman down our West Side today, who gave us a throw in when the ball didn't even cross the line to go out which led wide scale confusion.

3 points closer to securing our place in the playoffs. Important game at home to Macclesfield next week in the fight to finish 3rd

We weren't at our best but we were clinical and never really looked in danger of conceding - can't remember Ward making a save.
Not sure what happened at the end as it was played in good spirits.
Massive game next week, definitely fancy our chances.

It was a strange game today. In terms of possession and passing I thought Orient were better than us for long periods, yet we had by far the better chances and should really have won, Cook and Norwood creating several opportunities out of next to nothing. However, a draw was a fair result overall.

In terms of quality there was not much between the teams and Orient looked better in possession than any of the other promotion challengers I have seen, bar perhaps Aldershot. I think they will be right up there next season. I was particularly impressed with Brophy and Caprice, who always seems to play well against us and kept Eddie Clarke quiet today.

Two incredibly shite teams battling it out at Kingfield, the slighlty less shite home side, even with ten men, won it with a goal which bobbled in off someone's knee from a disputed corner.

Thriller.

We have a terrible away record this season. Fortunately we have the best home record in the division and Macclesfield, Bromley, Aldershot all have to visit us.

I wonder if the standard of pitches is a leveller away from home, we have 3 wins from 3 on 3G this season. If only everyone had 3G...

You have 29 from 15 games, whereas we have 32 from 16 so I think our away PPG is higher. Unfortunately 4 of our next 5 games are at home

The appointment of Bignot really just compounded what was already a dire situation and 6 of the board that caused it are still on the board. Incredible!

Bignot didn't seem that bad an appointment at the time, given what he'd done at Solihull, though not a quick fix kind of manager. Who were you wanting to come in?

True, suspect he made a good impression at the interviews. However, having watched a number of his post-match interviews and seen some of his live presentations, he came across as being only interested in self-publication and complaining about his lot. He and the team look like the walking dead and appear to have conceded relegation a while ago. Not convinced for having him longer term either, as his knowledge/contacts appear to be Midlands based and for the Conf North we'll need someone more knowledgeable about the NW for future recruiting.

Thought you'd played 17 away games? That's the table I'd seen anyway

Just seen that particular event on some fan highlights, and I think you're underplaying the incompetence of this decision. The ball didn't even come within a yard of the line (ok, maybe it was a foot, but even so...)! Also, the pitch is shocking.

Watch from the 1:40 mark.

Haha, that referee in the Wrexham game yesterday really did lose the plot didn't he? And that linesman for Orient v Tranmere... got to be one of the worst decisions I think I have ever seen

Didn’t think it was a terrible game yesterday. Shit ref though. Disgrace of a red card decision.

We should be safe now and now aim to be the first club in the ‘season over’ category.

They are superb.

We had one last season where a linesman gave offside from a throw-in away at Gateshead. Was on YouTube but can't find it.

You can blame our previous owners for the state of the pitch, no proper maintenance was done on it last summer while the takeover was going through, the current owners had no time to invest in it. So we're stuck with it sadly.

Ours isn't that much better, I'll be honest!
