Huge game for us (again) on Saturday. 2 wins on the bounce and a bit of belief in the squad again. 2 new centre backs look to have improved us tenfold already. We are unfortunately without Jake Cassidy who has been ruled out for 8 weeks, so it will probably be another chance for 17 year old Connor Simpson to make his mark on the first team. Rumours we are trying to bring a striker in before the game, but think Simpson will still be chosen to start. Unchanged line-up expected for the first time this season, unless Blair Adams is back to fitness to play left back.

Expecting a tough game, Dagnum have scored plenty of goals so far so our defence is going to have to be on top form. Would happily take a point from this game, but a win would really put us back on track and give me belief we may be able to challenge at the top end of the table.

Don't expect us to win tomorrow against undefeated Ebbsfleet, but would at least expect the mood at the ground to be lighter.
We've got 38 games to save our National League status, but at least we're in with a fighting chance now JMc is history.

Play like we did on Saturday and we'll win, that front three of Franks/Rodney/Simpson will do some damage up against some of these fat lump centre halves we've seen so far, getting the disinterested Amond out the door seems to of done the squad a whole heap of good.

Wouldn't be surprised if we had a new loanee striker in before Saturday like.

Maybe a game against a former club will make DSY show up...

Things are starting to click into place after a slow start. We've also got a few players available again after picking up knocks. With Torquay in a bit of a mess I'm confident we can heap a bit more misery their way. Win number four in a row.

Yeah fairly confident we will win tomorrow, second half vs Bromley was the best we have played so far this season. Torquay aint had a problem scoring, so will say we'll edge this 2-1. Hope they can pull themselves out of trouble again, starting after this Saturday..

No idea - we must be the most unpredictable team in this league results wise.

We've been mostly dreadful so far and I don't expect that to change on Saturday. However there are signs that some players are beginning to develop something approaching a basic understanding and that Bonne fellow is reasonable at punting the ball in the onion bag.

Tad worried about the quick Portuguese(?) chap Borehamwood have up front, as we are somewhat pedestrian, well, all over the pitch really.

We'll probably luck our way past Maidstone. If not, I look forward to using their 3G pitch as an excuse - hopefully it won't give me cancer.

Do Boreham Wood play on those awful, barely legal plastic excuses for a pitch?
If so I expect a comfortable 2 - 0 home win.

If they play (as all teams should) or proper, British grass, then we will waltz our way to an insipid 1-1 draw.

Should smash their attendance record for them, so that's nice I suppose.

Bonne will score.

They play on "proper" grass but I doubt that you will break their attendance record of 4,030.

Without a win at home since December 16(?) V without a loss since Boxing Day 16. Home win.

Or draw.

We've sold 900 tickets already, so we'll no doubt take at least 1000 and out number them.

We've played well in patches this season, but we do have the odd brain fart at the back (as I've been saying for weeks) and we won't keep many clean sheets.

Boreham Wood have a few useful players and Bruno Andrade is the sort of left winger I wouldn't mind us signing at this level.

Still shocked they can get crowds of around 500 and can be full time and sign players like Andrade, Kieran Murtagh, Danny Woodards and Paul Benson..........

I thought BW put a plastic pitch down in the summer?

You don't need to take that many to outnumber them.

300 or so would have been enough, talk about overkill.

You could take about 350 and still outnumber them.

We had 274 at Boreham Wood on a Tuesday night last season and outnumbered them...

As for us, we have Dover. Given that half our squad are still on the treatment table i'd happily take a point!

Hi Chief Rocka how is Luke George doing for you?
He spent an awful lot of time out injured in his 2 seasons for us.

That's because they had an anonymous phone call, later traced to a phone box in Oxford, telling them that you lot are all hooligans.
The ice cream van that usually stands on the corner of the ground has also been stood down for this game....... :animatedf:

I suspect you already know the answer to your question and are trying to be cute, must try harder.

We managed to score 2 last week - and here was me predicting 1-nil's. As a result I am now going for a 2-1 win for Wrexham - James Gray (to do what all ex players do and score against us) getting the Torquay goal - Reid and Massanka( now he's broken his duck and got some confidence) for us.

Another tough one up at Hartlepool now they have started to pick up. Should Whitely not be fit I can see us getting beat for the first time this term. Any chance we can play some tripe down the bottom soon?
