All on Saturday:

Bromley v Boreham Wood
Chesterfield v Barrow
Chorley v Hartlepool
Eastleigh v Dag & Red
Ebbsfleet v Notts County
Halifax v Fylde
Harrogate v Stockport
Sutton United v Dover
Woking v Solihull Moors
Wrexham v Barnet
Yeovil v Maidenhead United
Torquay v Aldershot

A lot of our fans will be expecting a win against bottom of the league Ebbsfleet after a couple of improved performances, but I'm not convinced it will be straightforward. Are they as bad as their start suggests? Sounded unlucky to lose at Solihull last week.

Elsewhere, there is an early top 2 clash!

There comes a point where we have to stop saying "I'd take a point here" and "the side have only been together 2 weeks" and "we are still a target man short"
I think this week is that week. No more blurring the lines between average performances and waiting to click.
After the last 2 results we have to set the yard stick up in the next two games.

Any more cleche's I can fit in this?

Flyde. The "hold my beer" team to anybody who thinks Salford are a bit jumped up.

They'll have a week of training behind them, determined to prove to Flydefan that last week's performance was just a blip.

Defence will need to be at least as good as usual, crowd will need to show their support. We'll go for a win but whether Flyde are all dat this season or not, it'll take a lot of preparation and graft.

We have to beat Chorley simple as that.

Hignett's going off the rails already - wants to rip up the system, start again, blasting players' desire. Chairman also questioning the club staff in the press why we have so many injuries - Raj is radged.

Not a happy camp by the sounds of it and looks like we might be dumping Killip already for a 19 year old Borer keeper who's played the grand total of 3 games in the Conny North his whole career.

Think it could be quite a telling weekend for us. We'll get to find out if we're going to be looking upwards and aiming for the play-offs or if making sure we don't sink further is the aim for the season.
Ebbsfleet and Chorley should be winnable and we did play pretty well last Sunday.

I’ll be attending my first game of the season on Saturday, so I fully expect the unbeaten run to end. It doesn’t help that our home record against Dover isn’t very good

Spot on Soup, got to win this or the knives will be out for the lot of them, Hignett included.

Gotta think Killip will be dropped Saturday like, even if it’s just for his own good cos he’s had an absolute stinker of a start, would sack Kerr off as well if Cunningham is match fit.

Notts have looked much better in the last couple of games. We're starting to gel, creating plenty of chances and things are starting to look promising. So it wouldn't surprise me if we lost.

Chesterfield will be desperate to get their first win of the season, but can see us going there and really frustrating them. I suspect our three ex-Spirites (+manager) will be eager to impress as well. Can see us nicking a win.

Should win this one, we have a better record at home.

Barnet will set up for the 0-0, it's down to us to break them down.

Eastleigh are an odd team this year, hopefully we can follow up the win against Harrogate with another win here.

Stinks of 1-0 to us doesn't it. I'm sure we always beat them 1-0.

If Matty Kosylo thinks he's coming back to garlands and bouquets of flowers, he's in for a shock.
But I'm sure he already knows how spiteful we Shaymen are when we've bin spurned. :bdick:

Harrogate away tomorrow for us. Always difficult to know which Harrogate you're going to get. They seem to be hot going forwards, but shaky at the back.

Hoping for a 3rd win on the trot but I'd happily take a point and then go and beat Chesterfield on BH Monday! :cool1:

Playing a team who’ve lost every game, you say? I don’t much like the sound of that. Should be another fun away trip, though, and that’s the real quiz.

Maidenhead at home for us tomorrow. No idea what to expect, we're down to our bare bones so a makeshift team in places. The unrest about the takeover isn't helping either, it's looking more and more like it won't happen and we'll be back to square one with our shithouse owners.

Last season’s encounter at the Hive finished 2-1 to you but the previous 4 meetings have been 1-0s!
We will field a defence without a recognised left-back and we won’t have a out and out striker in our starting line-up but it will still finish 1-0 to you.

if you don't beat Ebbsfleet & Chorley you might be here forever, like Wrexham :)

Expect a tough physical encounter.
Maidenhead will defend in numbers and try to hit you on the break.
We are also suffering with injuries.

Tidy. Our best player plays on the right wing.

I’m fully expecting us to lose our next three because as well as having a poor home record against Dover, we always lose away at Aldershot (17/18 aside), and Maidenhead have some weird curse on us (although that may have gone with Doswell, pre-2007 we had a great home record against Maidenhead)

Yes, they've got barely any players and the ones they do have still aren't being paid on time. If they do anything but finish bottom they'll have had a magnificent season.
