That's right, they've dominated games but they've not quite looked right at it when it comes to putting the chances away. Liverpool have looked more dangerous in that regard and considering both teams defences and keepers are far from solid I think your extra sharpness on the attacking side of things will get you the three points.

Myself and Salty do have our disagreements but I'm serious, I think Liverpool are well placed to get the win here. In addition to the stuff I mentioned earlier, I think you handle these big games much better than City do - probably better than anyone else in the league actually.

Playing the top sides has never been the problem, its the mishaps that keep happening against the minnows that's the reason Liverpool haven't won it in 10,000 days (though it will not be another 1,000 till they do win #19 ).

Kompany possibly being out is a blow. I've not seen much of Liverpool this season but heard somewhere that they attack with pace down the flanks. Hopefully Walker and Mendy will be able to cover that well enough. The attacking line up has to click sooner or later.

I'm going for a tight Liverpool win here, especially if Mane and Salah perform anything like they did against Arse. I can't see City's dodgy defence being able to live with them. We won't keep a clean sheet. Hopefully Mignolet's back. And the fact I'm saying that is a sad indictment of our keeper situation.

Yeah I'm surprised at G as he's usually more ebullient than this, and we've been playing well without C******* . We've also not been beaten by City in 3 years in the league so we have reason to be confident. If City can play at their best, they can blow any team in the league away; but if we play as we have done this season so far, we'll give them more than a game, so I'll stick with my score.
