still short of quality thanks to injuries

PNE beat us in the cup comfortably, so i'm hoping we learnt a lesson from playing them earlier, however both teams will line up a lot differently from that game

shocking start to the season for Presaton hopefully we can pile on the misery

2-0 Leeds

Saiz and Harrison

oi fuck off mate

can we just skip this and give you the 3 points? hilarious that people are paying £37 to watch us get twatted when you can enjoy it for free at home or the pub

Tough game this. PNE looked good in cup and we have 4 players out. More even than many think. Leeds to scrape a 2-1 win.

If it's a back three then i'd give Storey a run out, i'd also bring Barker in for Barkhuizen & Nmecha in for Moult. Get the younger lads up to speed.

Rudd's place seems safe unfortunately.

Rudd
Fisher, Storey, Huntington, Davies, Earl
Gallagher, Johnson
Nmecha, Robinson, Barker

Comfortable win for PNE. Play-off push begins.

was Barker that little mouthy one from the cup game? hopefully we go 1-0 up and then we can be the ones kicking the ball away and constantly delaying freekicks and goal kicks ;)

atleast you couldn't argue with it though

Shit, we're actually going down. I'd convinced myself that we'd turn it around and kick on but that first half has finished any hope I had left.

Oh and Declan Rudd can fuck off the useless c***.

LUTV saying you are one of the toughest opponents we've faced this season :D, we have been on top but you do defend well despite having a shit goalkeeper

Our defending has been shite. The only reason this is only 2.0 at the minute is because you've been wasteful.

comprehensive win, very good performance controlled the game, luckily the goal preston did score was rightly offside could have been a frustrating night if not

We’re fucked. Rudd seems to be undroppable for reasons known only to Neil, Clarke is fucking awful but plays every week, Earl is massively overrated. Our defence last season was good early on because we had the Grayson mindset instilled and we were organised and solid. That has now worn off and we have no clue how to defend. 6 games in a row now we’ve conceded 2+ goals.

Barkhuizen plays 90 minutes yet again despite being a League Two player but Barker barely gets 10 minutes. Johnson was shocking again but we have no options because of our embarrassing indiscipline. It’s laughable at the moment just how bad we are.

Fuck this season, I’m probably just gonna stay in the pub in Sheffield on Saturday.

Think it would be a completely different story if Maguire didn't get injured before the start of the season. Certainly wouldn't be 23rd anyway.

You might be right but if we’re that reliant on one player scoring all our goals then that’s an issue in itself, especially when that player has tissue paper hamstrings

Sounds like we dodged a big fat bullet in Louis Moult. It also sounds like half the Championship dodged a bullet in Nmecha.

I think 3-0 flattered Leeds a bit...at 1-0 it was clear we needed a second goal to be comfortable. When it did go in, we breathed a sigh of relief and hit cruise control.

Preston were no mugs, in the second half they had a go, ultimately I think our fitness was better and we managed to keep the intensity going. I think they'll be fine, although I haven't seen much of them before yesterday.

Saiz was great for Leeds last night,

Nmecha will be a good player. What are you expecting him to do when he's getting chucked on with 10 minutes to go with the game long gone?

Only caught a bit of the second and we actually played quite well in the period I saw.

Maxwell needs to play, that's the most infuritating thing for me. Obviously would have competed better if we had Pearson, Maguire & Bodin available but think we just got turned over by a good, clinical team.

Need a confidence boost from somewhere, a scabby win at Sheff Utd would do.

Agree with all of that. I'd definetly be staying in the pub, sods law would be saying nailed on away win aswell if you do.

Maxwell

Fisher
Storey
Davies
Hughes

Ledson
Gallagher
Browne

Robinson
Nmecha
Barker

That would be my team for Saturday, doubt we'll see anything like that though.

I'd go with that team, Storey deserves a shot.
