Jesus, it's someone worse.

JP is far from a tosser, he's a thoroughly decent bloke and, if you'd met him you'd probably agree. He is a Cheltenham fan, but I've only ever known him to be fair when reporting, even when having his stories made out to be bs (when evidence proves otherwise) by a certain Eco-Friendly electric company owner.

I suspect JP knows people close to Mo Eisa (along with people in the club) and this is why he is certain it won't happen. Personally, I don't care what happens with Mo, it would be a backward step going to FGR and you'd expect interest from a few League One clubs.

He is an awfully biased reporter!

It's easy for a cretin like yourself to say he is fair, you support Cheltenham.

Care to provide any examples of this 'awful bias'? He tells it how it is - eg seem to recall after our home game with you last season his summary was essentially that we were shite and you fully deserved the win.

Anyway, as Si says if he does end up going to FGR it'd be a backwards step, you'd have to question the guy's ambition when he could easily be playing in League One.

His brother who plays for Shrewsbury is probably a more realistic prospect.

We were linked with him earlier this season. Got an injury and that was that. Given we have ONE winger on the books, I would hope that we may take another look (assuming he's a winger)

Strange signing by us, French/Algerian defender Adel Gafaiti on a short-term deal.

Last seen playing for Mousehole AFC at level 12 in the pyramid but goes straight into our starting line-up.

As if there's a football ground in Mousehole?

We've got Noah Smerdon (left back, Gloucester) & Junior Mondal (winger, Whitby) on trial.

Expect us to be quite busy this January, Cooper not overly happy with the squad atm. Wants more attacking threat and strength in depth.

JJ Hooper joins Bromley on a 1 month loan from us. Must say that he's not done much whilst he was here but I was one of the few hundred Mariners who witnessed his excellent hat-trick on the last day of last season at FGR, so there is a player in there somewhere.

Hooper is a mega enigma. He would have the odd good game in ten the rest of the time looked half arsed.

Luke McCullough who has been on loan with us from Doncaster has signed until the end of the season.

Massive plus for us as the drop off in quality from him and Banks (who is out till mid January) to our next two cm's is huge.

Looks like MT wants to strengthen the squad in January so hopefully we can add some quality in the defence and midfield.

Apparently we're looking at CB Sean McLoughlin, who's contract has just expired at Cork but Doncaster are also in for him.

If that's the case, it'd suggest Wharton's loan might be cut short in January, which we're all kinda expecting because I can't imagine Blackburn are pleased with the amount of playing time he's getting. The Shackell signing hasn't done him any good in that respect.

Also suggestions over the last couple of weeks that Matt Green is off to Salford in January.

Bradford have a recall option on McCartan and noises that end suggested they might take that up but he's been pretty clear that he doesn't want that. We have a purchase option on him as well.

I can us having a switch around of squad players - the likes of Slocombe, Mensah, Crookes, Luque and Gordon.

If any of our strikers were scoring I’d have Greeny back here tomorrow as he’d be a great option off the bench but we need a striker to come in who isn’t as wasteful as what ours have been so far. I like Walker and Rose but they need goals soon, Apperently it could be the lad on loan at Carlisle currently from Fleetwood.

Manny Monthe and Norwood are attracting interest from elsewhere. Both have contracts that run out at the end of the season. Both apparently want to stay, Monthe likely will, but Norwood depends on money. Rumours that he's been offered 6k a week at a championship club in Jan, which if true we cant compete with.

Also heard the other day that if we beat Southport on Monday, Andy Cook will be coming back in Jan.

Glenavon have agreed a fee with Port Vale for midfielder Mark Sykes.

Blackburn, Oxford and Hibernian all interested so hopefully we get the deal done before they make bids!

Apparently the Sykes deal is over £100,000 which is surprising that we've actually finally shown some sign of investing properly to repair the damage done between 2016 and 2018!

1). Tranmere haven’t been contacted over Manny.
2). Tranmere can offer Norwood those wages, however would have to break the existing wage structure where all “key players” are on the same base wage and bonuses. Club are leaving it as late as possible too as if we are in playoff hunt mid Jan, we are financially better off keeping him.
3). Andy Cook is not coming back.

Twitter rumours :ffs:

Twitter rumours like Danny Rowe being a done deal, lets not forget about that one eh TranmereWhite. I don't make out I'm in the know at all, because I'm not, but I spoke to someone who works very high up in the club on Sunday and was told exactly what I wrote above.

1.) Your right we haven't, Monthe has though.
2.) If the wages that Norwood is being promised from a championship club come to fruition, we cant afford it.
3.) Andy Cook has contacted the club to try and arrange a deal.
