Last 5 minutes we've played more rugby than football. Desperate to make it to half time in front

2-2 Montano, always rated him.....

Just a shame our defence and goalkeeper are so terrible as we will probably have to score another two or three to avoid defeat today.

Mixed half for us - Notts County drawing, Accrington and Lincoln losing and Wycombe unsurprisingly winning. Our lead cut to 8 (effectively 9) over 4th and 5 points (effectively 6) to 2nd place.

I'd take that if offered now.

Ditto for us. 2 dreadful defences with 2 dodgy keepers. Hopefully we may have the edge up front.

Not the forward line that’s the difference as Pope and Richards are both decent, it’s the fact you’ve got someone like Taylor capable of delivering for Richards... we’ve not got that. Piss poor error again though, sort that out we may stay up.

It really beggars belief how we have gone from having for this level anyway an embarrassment of riches in having a choice of Alnwick and Neal in goal to just being an embarrassment ever since Alnwick was sold to Rangers. The complete failure to address this has cost us a hell of a lot of points since.

We seem to have been particularly poor today, but only the second defeat in 18.

Another defeat, seemed again mostly of our own doing with the manner of the goals especially the second... seems Barnett was subbed, Monty got a knock and Swindon got in down his side for the third.

Must be better. Seriously think we will go down.

Bizarre finish to the game. 4 minutes of injury time, we have a penalty shout a minute in. Ref linesman and fourth official have a chat for three minutes and then blow the final whistle.

1-1 isn't a bad result against accy but sadly these draws are not going to save us.

You've still a chance of the playoffs if you hold your nerve
Still around there but not sure we'll quite make it, tbh.

We lack that little bit of 'something' and our record against the top 7 is too poor for a PO challenging side and shows how well we do against the bottom and middle third sides.

No real surprise. Even with a couple of minutes left it just felt inevitable.

Only real saving grace is there is still a 7 point gap over the bottom two and our GD is better than all those below us.

Only positive heading into a run of home games and games against sides in mid table and below.

Bloody hell we kept a clean sheet for a change. Happy with a 2-0 away win moving us into 2nd. :)

As we didnt have as game today i took myself off to Stevenage to watch their game. Actually probably easier for me to get to Stevenage games than Luton to be honest (not that i shall be switching allegiance!) although I contrived to miss our game last weekend with them.

Yeovil were really bad, but got to say very impressed with Stevenage. First 5 minutes or so i thought i was in for a 90 minute bore fest as both teams looked to knock it long with the only real attacking intent being from Yeovils long throw ons.

Following that Stevenage got a foothold in midfield and from there I have to say played some good football on a pretty poor looking pitch that was clearly giving way under players feet.

Their first goal was lovely passing move that Amos struck brilliantly from 25 yards, the second was pretty similar type of move. When I saw Smith shaping up to hit it I thought it was going over the stand but he finished it brilliantly. Dont think i ever saw him strike a ball that sweetly when he was here! 3rd was good team goal again with Stevenage picking the ball up in the non existent Yeovil midfield and Kennedy put a good ball in for Newton to tap in. 4th was good play from Kennedy again who I have to say has always impressed me whenever I have seen him, even if he is a massive irritant.

Stevenage look like they have some real good young players. Was massively impressed with McKee in midfield and Wilmot at centre half. McKee in particularly ran the game and was a good partner to the less technically gifted Smith. Yeovil didnt offer a great deal in attack most of the game but Wilmot looked really very good and decent on the ball too, not your usual League 2 centre half.

Id take any of McKee, Kennedy or Wilmot at Luton to be honest, good technical footballers and not what I expected to see from Stevenage.

As above Yeovil were really not good at all. Had a little go toward the end when Stevenage brought on the pretty useless looking Lokko at full back and got some joy out of him, but never in the game really.
