Big surprise. Didn't exactly pull up trees last season. Barnsley wanted to sign him last year, so their boss obviously rates him. Would be interesting seeing him in the Championship after not really holding down a first team place either at Coventry or us in League One, and before that in League Two.

Mathew Olosunde has been signed on a 2 year contract having been released after 3 years at Manchester United.
Originally from Nigeria he played for New York Red Bull's, the USA Youth teams and has 1 full international cap.

He is a right full back, is over 6 feet tall and described as rapid.

Can't believe just how well our transfer business has been done so far. We look to have a better squad on paper this season than a couple of seasons ago since we finished 3rd!!

Just need a RB, couple of CM's and one more striker and we're good to go.

Confident we can get a top 6 finish this season!

Saw him in our 3-0 drubbing at Mansfield. Has talent, would do better if he tried to stay on his feet rather than rolling around at the slightest contact. Will be interesting to see how he fits in at Lincoln, not an obvious match.

I really liked Jorge Grant when he was with us for a short period on loan to begin last season. Looked a real classy player, technically very good indeed and could make things happen and had a cracking free kick as well. As it turned out in the end he scored some vital free kick goals for us.

I think he lost in place to Shinnie because of a slight knock, and things started to really take off for us so he couldnt break back in. Wasnt a reflection of his ability at all I dont think, and personally I thought he slotted in very well in the side we had last year and how we like to play. About time he found a permanent home, thats a very good signing for Lincoln I think.

Sounds like we'll be willing to let him go if we can sign a replacement. Probably for the best, we need a goalscorer.

Would certainly give us a decent idea if they likes of Andrade, Anderson or maybe even Toffolo aren't involved but it seems relatively quiet on the outgoing front other than the Andrade links a few weeks back.

He is from local to us. Maybe just getting fit as a favour.

Mansfield had arguably the best squad in league two last season and didn’t get promoted.
Now was it the players or the manager? I know which I think.
Grant was a cracking player in 2017/18 but lost his way last season especially under Flitcroft and wasn't the only one.
If any manager can turn a player around it's Mr Cowley.

This is genuinely the most optimistic I've been entering a season since watching Salop in League 1. Been unexpectedly impressed with our signings to date. Didn't think Ricketts would pull the signings we've made so far off!

Max O'Leary sounds like he'll be one of if not the best goalkeeper in the league next season according to Bristol City fans.

Arguably have the one of the best back three pairings in Ro Shaun-Williams, Pierre and Ebanks-Landell. LWB Giles from Wolves comes with good reviews. RWB will be Whalley so far and we know what he's capable of. Still need another RWB though.

Record transfer signing from last summer Norburn has signed a new three year deal which is great news!! Yes we're losing Grant but we have hopefully a fit Dave Edward's to come in plus Ricketts still wants a couple more centre midfielders. Don't be surprised if we break our transfer record again on somebody like Greg Docherty!

Then finally, up top we have Okenabirhire who should get 15 plus goals, Steve Morrison who has plenty of experience at this level, then the wild card in Daniel Udoh from Telford who I watched a bit last season and feel he'll make the step up. Expect another striker coming in on loan from a Premier League team perhaps.

Obviously just my opinion, but I really do feel like we could be in for a good year under Ricketts. Been told that the squad moral is at the highest it's been since Hurst left and the players are confident of having a good season as they have faith in Sam and enjoy his training sessions.

Former loanees Steve Seddon and Michael Folivi attended our PSF against Brentford tonight. Maybe it was because they had nothing else on and they enjoyed their time with us but the rumour mill persists. Here's hoping, especially Seddon.
