It’s 3k now. Doncaster being tight and only giving us 3,750 odd as a final allocation. That’s a bit stupid unless the old bill have interfered. They used to give over 4k to the likes of Leeds and Sheff Wed in the Championship.

Fair enough mate. Well yes us lot are expecting there to be 4,300 tickets, so maybe not, maybe it will be the same as you lot.

I haven't seen anywhere were we've sold the original allocation for Donny out yet, nothing on the official site or twitter.
Can't see 4k going on a Tuesday night but would like to be proved wrong.

Lol, never. Fairly sure in 12/13 in the fairytale season where you beat Villa or Arsenal you had less than 10k at the next game.. a season in which you got promoted. 15,000 is a hefty average at full price I doubt you’d achieve that unless you were in the Championship.
We wouldn’t average 15000 STs but we’d average 15000 if we were going for the autos in any league as plenty would pay on the day. You underestimate how fickle our fans are. We’d be selling out if we were fighting for promotion to the Prem but never gonna happen.

We were mid table L2 when we played Villa and Arsenal. The game after the final against Swansea was a Tuesday night game against Dagenham if I remember correctly which tells you all you need to know, 10k was a decent effort.

Sell the 3,750 and you will be offered the rest unless there is evidence that we will need the area for Home fans, unlikely but that would be the only reason for not giving you them. Moot point anyway you haven’t sold out yet

If there's a real chance of promotion (Shrews drop points on Saturday) we'll sell the 4,000.

Now your looking like a COCK Southey, we don't all come from a city with a 600k population regardless if there is 2 teams.
3k on a Tuesday night consider the away days we've had recently Gillingham, Bristol R and Pompey.
So fuck off and question your own support and why your so behind Leeds Leeds Leeds who do

You're*

If we had a chance to seal promotion we'd take 10k like at yours in 1980 (Ticker Taylor scored), Rovers baffle me as i know it isn't a big place but on odd occasions you turn out well (Gills last week) .... be interesting to see if you average the same next season upstairs.

As for us v Leeds, they are better supported, simply really, one club city, their home support is shite mind.

Ps apologies for the "wank" comment.

Fucking hell talk about a over reaction get a grip, should stay off this thread if you can't handle a bit of criticism. Blackburn should sell out anywhere from now on with whats at stake, same with Wigan.

Find it odd that Wigan can barely muster 8k home fans for a league game despite the bluster from some on here.

First off i also apologies for the F off comment, as I do appreciate your stats info and I posted after I'd had a few yesterday.
On our crowds if we went up, our Home support would stay around 11 to 12k but I could see a drop in our away numbers.

There has never been 10,000 SWFC fans at Ewood. I was there in 1980 and yes there was a big following, a great following, but don`t try and make it bigger than it was. As for Rovers we were always going to have above the norm away followings this season regardless of League position. They wouldn`t have been as big as they have been, but they would have been above what would be taking if we were to stay down for a second season. Maybe even cut in half for some games. Home attendances have hardly changed all season, I would expect this to be the same next season, maybe the average will be up a little due to bigger away followings. Next seasons away followings will drop, the first few will be big, but once the season settles down I reckon we will be back to where we where a couple of seasons back.

good effort, are they still same price as this season?

No, they’re slightly higher. We used to have flexi tickets at £50, which secures you a seat for the season, and you get to pick and choose which games you wanted to attend at a discounted match day rate. These have now been abolished - the take up usually for these were between 2,500-3,000 tickets. So at present, we’re probably 2,500+ down in terms of ST sales when compared to last season actual ST total.

Prices have now gone ‘up’ to £199. Those who are still undecided, still have the oppertunity to purchase - and lets be honest, it’s still cheap. We’ve launched membership packages in addition to the season ticket initiative - which can increase the cost of the ticket by £100+, depending on which membership package (if any) you choose.

Then we have suites around the groud were prices are obviously much higher - worth noting that these are generally sold out all year round.

We’ve sold our 2,100 allocation for Shrewsbury today, looking forward to it.

Because Wigan’s a town full of armchair, pub crawling, gloryhunting kno**eads who won’t pay to see us play the likes of Scunthorpe and Gillingham. Its been horrible watching us at home this season on and off the pitch, probably the worst it’s been from a match experience POV that I’ve ever known at the DW minus the FA Cup run. Almost every team puts 10 men behind the ball and we’ve had about five turgid nil nils. There’s zero atmosphere as the stadium is well over half empty and everyone expects us to win so therefore either stays quiet or moans rather than actually getting behind the team. The lack of away fans doesn’t help either.
