Great effort from Pompey on a Tuesday night. Puts some northern clubs who struggle to bring 500 to shame.

Charlton away on the 28th sold out (3030) the club have requested more, but we'll have to wait and see.
Charlton not making anymore tickets available, Rovers now thinking of doing a beam back to Ewood.

I think the fact they have like triple the amount of fans than quite a few clubs makes a big difference.

We have triple the amount of fans of a few clubs and no chance we would take 900 there on a Tuesday night.

We are usually one of the worst visited clubs even when it’s quite a northern league, not sure where we are this season. Don’t really get it, Bradford’s a shithole but there’s enough stuff to do, the stadium’s a decent old ground and has atmosphere and you’re 20 mins away from the M62 and Leeds station.

In that home game against Shrewsbury other week on the telly, looked like a lot of those cheap season ticket holders at Bradford didn't bother turning up, looked empty mate (not having a go, would just be interesting to see what you would get if your prices were 300-400 per season ticket). Think it is great your club do it that way though.

They did, they were given part of the east stand but that was just a ridiculous decision by Katrien on our 25th anniversary back at The Valley to practically make it a home game for Pompey. Although, was obviously done to piss off and make up for some lost money from boycotters.

They wouldn’t do that again as it didn’t go down well and we may well have something to play for ourselves this time round. Thankfully, Roland is off and isn’t interested about cramming in as many away fans as possible for this one.

You were right Bobbin, not giving us any more tickets, hopefully Rovers have a chance of winning it at donny, with the 4000 or so going if Rovers win tomorrow.

Last time we had full priced tickets was around 06/07 when we averaged about 7000-8000 when we were struggling in League One.

Crowds would vary massively at ours depending on what we are doing in the league. If we were fighting near the top of whatever league we were in I could see us averaging 15000 even with full priced season tickets.

As it is our seasons over and up until the last couple of games the players didn’t look like they gave a fuck so why should the crowd, even if they do have cheap tickets.

Yep, there’s was no way they were going to do that again. The whole Jim Seed is plenty although 3030 is a bit less than that.

Yeah, I’m hoping you have promotion wrapped by our game and think you will. Obviously also rooting for you tomorrow.

Yep, no more tickets for Charlton and home tickets already restricted so little chance of any Rovers fans in the home end.

Sold out for Doncaster too but they've given us more tickets.

Doncaster chairman must be rubbing his hands together with Blackburn and us as their last two home games. Rovers won’t be allowed to do a beamback for Charlton because it’s a Saturday 3pm kickoff. We tried to do one for Fleetwood this coming weekend but the EFL said no.

Why? Do you think either of you will sell out? Can’t see 4,300 coming from either team.

Can`t see Rovers getting promoted before the last day, I see us needing 1 point off Oxford. The season has been an adventure, with ups and downs. So far more ups. One thing is for sure , if the team who finishes third don`t win the play offs it`ll be a crying shame, all three have had outstanding seasons.

We've been able to show a few sold out games live in the blues bar and legends lounge for £6 a pop, the last one being Bristol Rovers. So imagine we'll be ale to do that again but maybe EFL won't let us do a big screen on the pitch then.

Lol, never. Fairly sure in 12/13 in the fairytale season where you beat Villa or Arsenal you had less than 10k at the next game.. a season in which you got promoted. 15,000 is a hefty average at full price I doubt you’d achieve that unless you were in the Championship.

Aye, we averaged over 10,000 in that season. Although, I think Bantamigo was referring to League One. In Blackburn/Wigan’s position in L1, we would average 15,000+ at full price. He certainly didn’t mean generally speaking, because if we were knocking on the play-off door in the Championship, with the away support in that league, we’d be selling-out a few fixtures at Valley Parade.

The potential is massive at this club - but much like medium sized clubs, fans are very fickle - we’re no different.

13,000 ST’s sold for next season - FYI.

If the game sells out the away club are allowed to show the match at their ground. Not sure what's going on with Wigan, unless you haven't sold out? Or maybe a price has to be agreed with EFL, and Wigan and EFL can't come to an agreement. We have had a few saturday 3pm kick offs shown at Ewood. Last one Bristol on Saturday, tickets were £6 in blues bar and £25 in legends lounge, both sold out

We will be bringing a good 4000 up, sold 2500 as of yesterday, and the demand is high, so can see 4000 easily being shifted. Wigan will probs take about 2000.

We had one two seasons ago when we sold out at Blackpool abd it was 3pm kick off.

EFL now saying that they can no longer allow it as it breaks the 3pm live TV embargo.

So the EFL are openly saying Blackburn have broken the rules.

If Blackburn arent punished then we should ignore the EFL too and just do it.

I am fairly sure that both clubs have to agree to the game being shown live. If Charlton don’t agree to it, it cannot happen.

That was a 12.30 kickoff. My guess is Latics probably lied and didn’t try to put a beamback on. I wouldn’t be arsed though, anyone without a ticket should go to Blackpool anyway and congregate in a bar.

It’s 3k now. Doncaster being tight and only giving us 3,750 odd as a final allocation. That’s a bit stupid unless the old bill have interfered. They used to give over 4k to the likes of Leeds and Sheff Wed in the Championship.

You're as good as up if you win tonight in my opinion.
