Gunna be a good game this one. Ignore our position in the table we are starting to get our shit together. Confident going into this one even though shrews have started well. I foresee a first shrews loss.

Both teams had similar seasons last time, struggling most of it then putting a great run of results together.

One team has carried that on and then some, and the other has had a start both on and off the field that nobody saw coming!

Our midfield has come on in leaps and bounds since the opening game aginst Oxford (Hello Byrne, Bryan, Gardner), and we've found a proper striker in Eoin Doyle. Now we just need to cut out some of the soft goals we're conceding and we can kick on.

Either way it is nice to be 3 points clear at the top and know we will still be in the top 2 regardless of Saturdays result. I am also hoping Walsall don't lose v Posh so that Whitney is still their manager for our away visit to Walsall in a few weeks time.

Fair play to shrews can see why they are top. Well organised and capitalised on poor defending.

That said I don't think you could argue had we taken a point. Much of a muchness for the most part. We will keep on improving.

Sheridan got his subs wrong again for me. Fane and tope ain't gunna get ya back into it.
