Scott Loach _ KEEP
Ryan Catterick - UNDECIDED

Carl Magnay - GET RID (thanks but time to move on)
Peter Kioso - KEEP
Mark Kitching - UNDECIDED (could keep as backup but not good enough to be a regular)
Fraser Kerr - KEEP (just signed him anyway)
Kenton Richardson - GET RID (out of his depth at this level)
Myles Anderson - UNDECIDED (National League player - but need better if we want to go up any time soon.)
Aaron Cunningham - KEEP
David Edgar - GET RID (no better than what we already have)

Liam Noble - KEEP
Ryan Donaldson - KEEP
Lewis Hawkins - GET RID (useless)
Josh Hawkes - KEEP (but we won't)
Gavan Holohan - UNDECIDED
Adam Bale - KEEP (just signed)
Luke Williams - UNDECIDED (signed but hasn't kicked a ball all season. If he we get him fit he's far too good for this level but too much of an IF)
Connor Newton - GET RID (useless)
Paddy McAnonymous - GET RID
Luke Molyneux - KEEP (but I don't rate our chances)
Nicky Featherstone - GET RID

Jake Cassidy - GET RID (enjoy the National South)
Niko Muir - UNDECIDED (but think he'll move on, not fussed either way really)
Nicke Kabamba - KEEP
Luke James - KEEP
You've got that spot on for me Soup, although I don't think Kabamba will be here next season, probably wants something down South.

Hey guys, sorry you couldn't quite scrape together enough points to justify your unearned sense of superiority and finish above us. Takes me right back to the old days, it does. :fl:

get behind us... we finished as the top Northern English ex-Football League team this season - not counting Gateshead who have gone bust and reformed several(?) times since leaving the league so are not the same club

Right then, lads, it's time for my first semi-serious post down here. Let's wade through the ridiculous 40 man squad we've managed to assemble during this season of hell:

Under contract:

Ross Fitzsimons - GK - Not very good, a genuine shambles on crosses. Can't imagine he's on much money so may survive as back up.
Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain - RB - Whoever gave this man a two year contract needs firing into the sun along with young Christian himself.
Matt Tootle - RB - Good player who has had a season disrupted by injury and lack of form. Would be more than happy with him staying. One of only two (along with Bird) who have already said that they intend to stay and sort this out.
Pierce Bird - CB - Young player, local lad, Notts fan. Signed from Dunkirk a couple of years ago and forced his way into the team at the end of last season, would expect him to start.
Dan Jones - LB - Disappeared half way through the season. Personally think he's fine in League Two let alone here, but if Ardley stays I doubt he will.
Jim O'Brien - CM - Signed in January, done okay but not as well as we'd hoped having seemingly done a good job in League One for Bradford. Will likely stay.
Michael Doyle - CM - Old, slow, not really had the desired impact. May be a useful man to have around, though.
Mitch Rose - CM - Another January signing. Decent player, suspect he'll survive the cull.
Will Patching - CM - Jesus christ, why? Blown off the ball by a light breeze, would send him to Hyde United if he wasn't earning so much money.
Tom Crawford - CM - Been out on loan at Fylde and seemingly contributed if not stood out. Still only a teenage, should be involved.
Enzio Boldewijn - RW - Ultimate confidence player and way too inconsistent, but in reality still too good to drop down. Will be sold.
Andy Kellett - LW - Perpetually injured, fuck knows. Maybe he'll retire.
Kristian Dennis - ST - Signed as a 20 goal man in League Two and offered very little either for us or on loan at Grimsby. Doubt anyone will match his wages so may have to persevere and hope he refinds form down here.
Kane Hemmings - ST - Top League Two player, be off in a shot.
Kion Etete - ST - Really highly rated teenage striker, likely to be sold to Spurs.

Out of contract:

Richard Duffy - CB - Decent servant but will be released.
Shaun Brisley - CB - Another whose face doesn't fit with Ardley. Another who is a perfectly good League Two player in a vaguely competent set up.
Elliott Ward - CB - The most certain release of all time.
Rob Milsom - LB - Alright, but probably not enough to warrant keeping him.
Cedric Evina - LB - Was given a new contract in January then never seen again. Goodbye.
Elliott Hewitt - CM - In a minority of one - I'd keep him and play him. Instead we'll release him and he'll be great for a League Two team who pick him up.
Noor Husin - CM - Goodbye.
David Vaughan - CM - Not entirely his fault, but probably the worst signing we've ever made.
Lewis Alessandra - ST - One of many from our play-off team of a year ago who will be picked up and used well by a League Two club.
Jon Stead - ST - Old. Should be released, but hey, who knows with Jon?

Think that's everyone, a couple of teenagers I know little about excepted. What a shit show.

14 players signed up before June is a MASSIVE squad in non-league.

We can but hope.

Probably a bit harsh on him to be fair, been a decent servant, but miles past his best now. Only really scores penalties.

God knows where that rumour came from. Pretty much everyone knew it was garbage yet it seemed to be a big topic on the terraces for a while.

We’ve only got two players contracted for next season - Rees Grant and Alex Finney - and only offered deals to two players - McDonnell and Fowler. Looks like it’ll be a massive rebuild, regardless of whichever league we end up in.

Aldershot are a draw for any manager down there, you surely could poach one. It would really annoy Woking if you pinched their boss if they are beaten by welling

Just goes to show how ridiculous the squad was before, when we've got rid of half the squad and still have 13 left. I imagine one or two more might go before Sheridan is done to be honest. Maybe one or two still in contract that will need to reach terms with. Expect recruitment to start soon too. He'll want to be done and dusted then swan off on holiday

Kristian Dennis should pot them in for fun next season in this league

Dunno if he’ll stay assuming Ardley does - implication when he went out on loan in January was that he didn’t really fancy it. Suspect we’re paying him handsomely, mind, so we may not have a choice.

I would keep him, flog Hemmings and try and sign the target man we’ve needed since Ameobi left.

I know he left us because he didn't want to play non league again. So who knows. Definitely knows where the net is though

You'd be so much better off just binning off everyone with the exception of one or two youngsters/players who actually give a shit.

The culture shock down here can be a bit much for some players..............
