From what I've seen of Wednesday this season I don't even know how they are in the top half. Obviously they can perform at times

They were worse than Brentford in knocking it side to side!

I told you that in the other thread.

2pts from our last games, beforehand that wouldn't be acceptable (still isn't really) but considering we have had a combined total of 2 shots on target during those games and both teams (though neither are anything special) looked better than us, I'm glad we have got them.

Big question for us now, is do we stick with Carlos and hope (forlornly) that he can turn it round or change manager now to someone attack minded and hope there's enough time for him to change things round and give us an opportunity of the playoffs.
I would take the latter, sadly I think Chansiri will take the former.

On Ipswich's part, although they looked better than us (difficult not to and nothing to shout about) I don't think they are good enough for the playoffs.

Don’t get me wrong, we’re not good enough for play offs, but I’d still like us to win.

At the start of the season I thought we’d go down so I’m happy where we are and I don’t think we’ll go down now. But i and many Town fans want a change.

That's a slight improvement, it's normally sideways then backwards, then further backwards, then sideways, then backwards to goalkeeper who will then launch it down the pitch either for the opposition to gain possession or for the above procedure to start again.

How we have gone so far backwards in terms of our style of football in 18 months whilst under the same manager, with more expensive and supposedly better players is beyond belief and extremely frustrating as on the very rare occasions we do revert to attacking teams we do look good.

It's your lack of pace, you've no energy or buzz in your side. You've countless players like Bannan, Butterfield, Jones, Lee, Reach who are all creative but if you don't have something different alongside them it's pretty easy to play against, very one dimensional side imo.

The odd times we did go for em they shit it, both full backs of theirs should have been a target but time and again our overlapping full backs were ignored.

It is so frustrating to watch at the minute, from how we were two years back we've regressed in style. On to Reading.

Really poor performance again, problem was we were also sloppy at the back as well as creating nothing. Would have been happy with a point before the game, but I'm thrilled we got anything from that. Slow paced, one dimensional, the same problems we've had for the last 18 months but we aren't winning like last season. Positives are a point and that we didn't give up and kept on going, puts a lot of pressure on us to get 3 points at Reading though otherwise the play offs could be some distance away.
