Dodgy one this as everything points to an away win but Grimsby will stop the rot sometime soon. We’ve got to be confident following Tuesday’s win so I’m hoping we play to our potential which should see us get the win.

There may be one or two changes for us. I expect Brown will come in for Archibald-Henville who doesn’t usually play twice in a week. And we may see Jake Taylor come back in if his injured isn’t too bad.

Any Grimsby fans able to shed any light on who they have who are dangerous? I hear Simeon Jackson is out already...

I’m going for a 3-1 win today. Stockley, Harley and Moxey for us. Safe trip to all travelling Grecians. UTC

Jamille Matt's dangerous. Dangerous to people waking down Blundell Ave that is. :bg:

Good team selection from us. I hope that we can attack as much as possible. Hopefully a 2-0.

What about Dembele? You could see he was talented in the game at SJP but suspect he’s pretty inconsistent due to his age?

As Denzel says we’ve probably got our strongest lineup today so anything less than 3 points will be disappointing

Dembele's been out injured but back on the bench today so I'd expect probably last 30-35 mins cameo.

Didn't come.

Red sounded like he had yellow cards super glued to his hands?

I actually fancied us less to score when Exeter were down to 10 as we are always completely useless against 10 men.

Quite useless against men 11 too.

Sounded like a very scrappy game and when we got the penalty it was against the run of play. In fact I think we hadn’t even had a shot by that point so it was harsh on Grimsby and their fans must have been fuming to miss a penalty so soon after.

Second half sounded quite even and I feared the worst when we went down to 10 men but sounded like we kept things pretty tight.

Overall a good win, probably undeserved which is harsh on Grimsby but to be able to grind out wins is crucial for us. Plus it was a good day as lots of teams dropped points around us.

3 home games now against Chesterfield, Carlisle and Yeovil so a massive opportunity to push into the top 3.

Sexy footbaal on the deck like
Wos in the directaz box for the game today like, thought yous were canny, geet loads of final third entries and throw ins between the half way line and the penalty area. Some fuckin mint diagonal baalls that went oot for Exeta throws as well. Aalso, good to see the skippa leadin by example. So that's beltaz. Sladey did a canny job on today's show, now it's me turn to finish it off for yas.

Bit embarrasin at half time though like. Fenty asked us to buy him an ice cream. Still waitin for me single win bonus to get paid by Pools so had to nip oot and sell me Phil Collins cassettes at Cash Converters on Hainton Avenue as I had nee money! Got him a choc ice but a wos 10 minute late for the 2nd half. He asked us where a'd been, didn't knaa wot to say so told him a had irritable bowel syndrome. a divvant but it is what is and a gan again (and again). Not sure he was that chuffed like. Fingaz crossed when a get the final word next week.

I think that's one to chalk up as a lucky to win. Hard lines on Grimsby it would seem. I see Pym made the League Two team of the day, which seems frankly bizarre as he didn't have a save to make.

lol I don't think we had a single shot on target did we?

Edit: BBC Sport says we had 1, not sure where or when that was though? :dk:

They must have counted a back pass by an Exeter player that would have gone in if the keeper had fell over.

Woe is Me.
