TBF, our fans were fooking embarrassing on Saturday.

Yep, they really were. There was a woman standing next to me for the second half who was one of the worst people I've ever encountered. If I'd have known i would have had to endure her, i would probably have chosen to stay on the open terrace instead.

The FGR forum has made me laugh. You would have thought they were playing Millwall not little old Crewe the way some of there fans have gone on. God help them when the likes of Luton, Coventry and Vale turn up later in the season.

Apparantly we have a reputation for causing trouble.

I don't agree with those comments on the FGR forum. It was the weather that brought out the worst in everybody's character. And there were some OTT opinions posted by a minority so please read them with a pinch of salt.
I met many Crewe fans before game and a better bunch of fans one could not meet.
And to be honest when their fans were allowed into the covered North Stand it did greatly raise the atmosphere of game. I loved it.

I had a really nice time for about half an hour once we were let in to that stand...

You could say it was fan power and direct action that forced the plod and stewards to let our fans in the end behind the goal, but you could also say when are we going to see some fan power direct action at home against our mute board of directors. I do not blame Artell at all for any of this mess we are in, to appoint a totally inexperienced manager to try and overhaul an ailing football club is insane, but we all know why they did it, because it was the cheap option. I actually think Big Dave as a number 2 next to a seasoned lower league manager would have worked a treat, but no, that would show a tiny bit of ambition and maybe a bit of cash.

I have said it before in other circles, it does not matter if Crewe Alexandra are playing top flight football or we are playing in the Crewe Regional Sunday League, that stadium will still be the same value come HS2, it's why that fraud Hassall is still clinging on in there, you know, the same Hassall that Bowler said the directors were going to buy out before LAST season, but we have not heard a peep since, perhaps Norm has managed to persuade them that they will all gain come HS2, which I am sure they will, the football club won't, neither will the fans. Still we can become Stoke's academy or something. Arseholes.

The stadium isn’t part of any plans of HS2 as of the last documents released, the station will be revamp on its current plot. Hassall, and most of the board, will be dead by the time the land value increases as a result of the HS2 development if it does at all.
