Draw tomorrow at 7pm on BBC 2 so thought it would be a good time for a thread on this.

Hoping we can get drawn with Truro but it's probably about time for us to get Bury away again.

I'd strongly recommend at good FA Cup run. It does the bank balance a world of good.

We will probably get someone like Bradford, dull that would probably beat us... that said we could end up with Gateshead and an immediate return for Aspin...

We navigated two league two sides last year, destroying Hartlepool in the process but over the years have struggled regardless, infamous defeats to Scarborough, Canvey Island (4-2 up into injury time in that one) and Chasetown (lowest ever side to knock a L1 side out) as well as struggles and replays needed to beat Dartford, Maidenhead and Ford United.

May be wrong but only recall Shortwood, Salisbury and Forest Green Rovers (two from Nailsworth!) that we’ve beaten from non league at the first time of asking in recent years so doesn’t really matter who we get.

Away to Rotherham, gut feeling, even dreamed about em as well, might see what odds i can get on us drawing them....... could be a nice return for a tenner!!!!!

Haha funny you should say that as we've been talking about who we'd like to get at work tonight and Rotherham away seems like the best we could get, Yorkshire so not too far and a nice big away end that we've never played at before so should take a load.
Course that's not what we'll get, probably Cheltenham away or something.

Dover away! Ferry over to the continent Friday morning big day on pop catch the game on the way back. If you squint at the map and use your imagination Dover is almost on the way if you talk yourself into it.

We'll probably get a Conference team and get knocked out. 3 of the last 4 seasons have seen us knocked out by Conference opposition, and not necessarily decent Conference opposition either.

Hoping for a home game. It falls on the same day as the fireshow and the beer festival is also that weekend and I have friends coming up for those and they'll all be happy to come to the football, though for similar reasons I'm hoping we don't get Salford or some other tinpot fanboy outfit and get moved to be on telly, especially not if they move us to Saturday evening, that would throw a right spanner in the works.

If Ossett Town win their replay, that would do for me. Or Shaw Lane Association. Both away.

We were supposed to play Shaw Lane Association (or Shaw Lane Aquaforce as they were before they had to drop the sponsor part of their name) in the FA Trophy, but they played an ineligible player and were kicked out so we ended up at Nantwich instead.

Spend lots of money for the level they're at.

They have our young keeper on loan, and I was surprised at the level they're at to be loaning players from us.

Hoping for Truro away (or Bath City if they win their replay). But I'm fully expecting Luton away.

Not our league I know, but Gateshead v Truro would be a long trip.
Some wag at a TV company would then probably choose it for the Friday night game.

NO ONE in the draw will fancy taking us on, that's for sure.

Draw live from the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa with your hosts Lenny Henry and Drewe Broughton.

Barnet as always will draw league opposition away and lose. I think we may be in the running for having the worst fa cup pedigree in the league

Actually it's not anywhere near as bad as our history. Only Rochdale have more first round exits (51) than we do. Ours currently stands at 49, so rapidly closing on them.
Feel free to congratulate us in advance for making our half century this year.

We hold the record for the most consecutive FA Cup ties going to replays (14 I think, which ended last season). There's a nice, random, Monday fact for you all.

Gateshead are never on TV. Just look in the NL forum.
