Rafa's come out and said that he's going to 'respect' the Cups this year which as far as cliche's go is right up there. Saying that I do believe him and I think the changes we'll make will be small. Mitro in for Gayle, Selz in for Darlow...

Possible Line Up;

Selz
Gamez
Hanley
Clark
Dummett
Hayden
Colback
Gouffran
Perez
Diame
Mitrovic

As you say I really don't know which I'd prefer to win. We're fortunate in that we have a small buffer at the top and this is our first realistic opportunity to qualify for the QF in years. Realistically I think we'll win this but then lose or draw at best at the weekend.

Yeah saw that. Already the Club's fourth highest gate in the competition's history which is canny. Taking 1400 on a Tues is no mean feat. at all either.

Especially when we've played Brighton and Norwich away in a week which is a killer for fans cost. Plus we play you saturday, so for both teams to have sold that many is great.

Where have you seen the 1,400 figure? I never know where to look for ticket updates.

Aye forgot about Norwich as well. Distance and the price of that alone would put most off another similar trip. If you don't mind me asking, how much were you charged?

Our players are just going to follow yours down to Deepdale in time for Saturday.

Almost in Live Aid style, the Club are making an announcement every time another 1000 tickets have sold :£.

Up to 44000 now.

I just hope you don't lose as many toes as there are goals.

So god forbid the lower league clubs make wholesale changes to their sides for the most pathetic competition ever invented, but it's fine for the bigger clubs to do it in a major national competition

I thought Preston were going to be trouble, but Newcastle have swatted them aside here.

Spurs actually played a stronger side against us in the 3rd round than they have at Liverpool. Two changes, Eriksen and Lamela out, Dier and Nkoudou in.

Disgusted by that, built up a lot of good feel factor and optimism with our recent form and we just pissed on it with that team, evident even before the red card that those players would struggle.

Alan Browne was an utter bellend with that elbow, his chance to stake a claim for a spot in our midfield and he blew it. Get back on the bench and stay there you c***.

Ben Davies in his second appearance for us in about a year and a half, dogshit and subbed at half time, get him loaned out and released at the end of the season.

Lindegaard, dogshit, no idea how he played in the prem, thank god he's only on a 12 month deal but i'd happily pay him up in January.

Grimshaw, he's played around 4 games for us and has looked abysmal, get him out on loan as he's no use to us this season.

Subbing Makeinok on the hour mark and leaving that pile of wank up top as a loan striker when we were 4-0 down?? Makienok wasn't great but he won a fair few in the air and that meant he was the only one on the pitch who did his job.

It all just seemed like a massive piss take, as embarrassed as i've felt following North End and there has been plenty to choose from.

Boufal's goal was outstanding.

Dull game, was watching a shite stream but looked like Sunderland were unlucky with a late penalty shout.

Bet we get Liverpool again.

Deserved wins all round but sadly seems like there has been some trouble at West Ham which was predictable.

We've got West Ham at home in the next round, could have been a lot worse.
