Hearing we have sold 3,400 tickets as at 2pm today. The deadline has past and the rest will be sent back to City for pat on the day at an increased price.
Not sure what the final total was at 5pm

We were on 2,600 yesterday lunchtime so presume it’s gone past that.

Despite only selling those figures, the Ricoh will look pretty full. Whole of our biggest end is sold out and we have slowly started filling blocks in the stand behind the goal. Still disappointing.

Bless, Alan Hardy has said they have Notts v Coventry duel scarves available in the club shop.
The queues for them will be huge :ffs:

Surely if you would want to remember the game as an occasion then you'd buy a programme, not a tinpot scarf, and we know all about tinpot!

Anyway, best of luck to the four teams involved in the playoffs. I can see these games suiting the pies, nicking a late goal here and there. My money is on them to reach the final and do the business.

Gareth Ainsworth is the expert pundit I’m the Sky studio for this game. God help us.

A lot of water on that pitch - Rick it could get abandoned if it rains again?

Shambolic refereeing that, how can a professional referee give that?

He seemed to be looking at it through the defenders back. Saw him making a chopping motion with his hand explaining his decision to a Notts player, must have reckoned he saw him go right through him.

Given it our all and this is a decent result either way, but can’t help feeling very bitter. That penalty decision is an absolute disgrace.

It actually was for once, you usually get carried away at decisions that turn out being fine, but yeah that was a disgrace.

We hope for justice and all is that is good in the world to prevail in the replay and Notts get to Wembley, I guess. Don’t really know what else to say.

I genuinely laughed when he gave that decision, what a completely ridiculous penalty.

that it came against county is even more funny, but that’s a real bad decison

I don’t think Bayliss is going to get a very friendly welcome at Meadow Lane on Friday, to be honest.

Wasn’t his fault... he actually said to your lad he got the ball. In fairness County have had plenty of decisions like that go their way this season... was a shocker though.

I don’t think people are going to care about the semantics of it to be honest, he’s getting every bottle and coin in Nottingham I imagine.

How many Notts games have you seen this season?

Was this as bad as or worse than the penalty decision at Swindon?

The penalty decision was an absolute shocker and I’d be feeling robbed if it was given against us, but the referee was awful all game. Two incidents where McNulty was obstructed while trying to get on to a ball on the edge of the area and the ref gave a foul against him. Also not convince that Forte was onside for the goal when the ball was played into him, but I’d need to see it again. The pen will be all the motivation Notts need in the second game, hopefully we turn up.

Thought that a draw was probably fair on the balance of the game. We could have easily been a goal or two up at half time but we wilted as soon as Notts scored. They played really well defensively in the second half but we were also awful going forward. Going to need to try something different in the second leg I think.

Also, the pitch was a fucking disgrace. It’s a joke that it’s in this state but that’s what you get when you have penny pinching pests at landlords.

We know all about historically bad playing surfaces, until we kicked out the rugby lot.

Probably helped us
