Looking forward to next Monday 15/1/18 for the game Enfield of Middlesex against Barnet of Hertfordshire being played at Harlow in Essex. So much for County Cups.

New Mills 1-4 Alfreton.

New Mills managed to get the game on to their credit in the end.

Played a very strong XI. Eased to 4-1 win. Could have been 10 at HT if not for 3 or 4 excellent saves from the New Mills keeper. Took our foot off the gas second half against 10 men and allowed New Mills to score.

Through to the semi-finals to face Ilkeston at home. Been way too long since we played them in a game. Looking forward to it.

It now seems that Enfailed cannot cope with the thousands of fans that will flock to this game and have switched it to the Dive(sorry Hive)

Sounds like there's gonna be a stupidly high police presence for our game against Gills next week. Kent Police seem to be treating it like its bloody West Ham/Millwall.

Game was originally meant to be played on halloween, but was canceled due to the police saying they wouldn't have enough people available to police the game and deal with potential halloween antics

Game was made all ticket as well....all this drama for a poxy county cup game :ffs:

Managed a 2-0 away win at Runcorn Linnets on our road to retaining the Cheshire cup.

If Maidstone Reserves v Gillingham Reserves played on a Subbuteo pitch attracts trouble then the world has gone completely mad.

I forgot all about it, they moved it enough I couldn’t keep up. I’m staying away from this one, I’ll wait til we play Gills in a real game.

Yeah me too, not that I've actively ever been interested in the county cup. Think we've sold our allocation though, whatever that might have been

Predictably, having been available on all other scheduled dates for it, I'm working tonight.

Crowd only 1,600, I’m not the only one to give it a swerve then!

Job done, into the semis we go. Is worrying seeing Bromley are still in though, they always beat us.

How do the league teams play this competition?

Just send the kids and hope for the best against big physical "men"?'

Or do some take it seriously to an extent..

We seem to have totally given up on the Herts County Cup!

Lost to Kings Langley playing the Under 18 "reserves""!

The amount of police around was absurd, never seen that many police for a Maidstone game before......society rooms before the game was swarming with them as well.

Not a single player that started our last league game was involved, plus three triallists. That'll give you a clue as to the strength of our side last night. Not overly fussed we lost, although I would be interested should we ever play the (ex)Squatters in a proper match 1st XI v 1st XI.

We've been quite magnanimous compared to that numpty who comments on every Stones KM story about being in GFC's shadow.

It's only the Kent Senior Cup, so this is about as gloating as we get. There is a hilarious video on FB of the gentleman in the picture.

In the NRSC we play squad players and youth steamers.
Middlesbrough put out the U23 team.

Bromley at home in the Kent Cup semi finals. Worst draw possible, we never beat Bromley and we're crap at home

As much as "we hate Sutton etc etc" I do hope you win the FA Trophy if anything. You're one of the few examples of a traditional non league club run well & deserve the success that brings.

Don't tell any other K's fan I said that because I'll be extradited from the club

Copy and pasted for blackmail purposes

In all seriousness it does seem like all those years of frugality are finally paying off

It would be amusing for all kinds of reasons if we beat the Gills but couldn't beat Bromley.

We host Ilkeston Town in the semi final of the Derbyshire Senior Cup tonight.

Winner will play Buxton or a Chesterfield XI in the final.
