Good news for Blackpool...

FA must be worried about what is going to happen at the game - changed the ref.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...toner-replaced-blackpool-game-following-high/

I can't see anything happening at the game, they talk about increased attention but it's not like it's going be live on telly or anything and there are unlikely to be any repercussions on the pitch, as I'm sure for the players this is just a game like any other, and I can't see there being a hostile atmosphere as firstly nobody, least of all Pompey fans are going to cause trouble for Blackpool, and secondly if anything the fact the Oystons are now in financial difficulty is reason to boycott harder to avoid putting money in their pockets that they could use to pay off their debts without selling the club.

Methinks the real reason, though they won't admit it is Toner's name, and the injury to Graham Salisbury has given them an excuse to say it's for footballing reasons.

I pop on now and again, interesting you say that SF because including all of the loans currently tied into the club. The independent valuation of the club during the court case was around 5.5 Million.

They have until December the 4th to stump up 10 Million, which I don't believe they have that readily available, hence using the sale of the club to delay that date.

This wasn't a win for Blackpool but it was a win for Football. Take away rivalry, take away all of the nonsense around football, the owners SUED people for saying exactly what they have now been found guilty for. All of those fans who said "You can't say what isn't true and get away with it" well it's now been proven, they asset stripped Blackpool FC and then sued fans because they could afford to be the bigger bully.

Do you know the problem with being a bully in business? There is always someone bigger and more wealthier than you.

Pay up 31.2 million and leave the club in capable hands. My only wish is for them to be living on the streets.

What price being a multi millionaire and being loathed despised and reviled in the area where you grew up. The son has had to move away and the old man, well he is just that, an old man. I know one thing people with serious wealth just hate parting with it and that’s the pleasure many fans can take from this ruling

They need to set up a Phoenix club - like Hereford and Wimbledon did and start again. Then, everyone stops going. They will soon get the message.
Hereford are now 2 promotions off the football league again, so it can be done.

Hopefully signs that the end is near. The Oyston's failed to pay Belokon 10m on Friday which was a High Court order. We will find out more on Monday. They still need to pay Belokon around 25m including this payment. That is a lot of money when most of their wealth is tied up in assets.

Plenty more twists and turns yet. It's started to affect the players on the pitch so can't see how we will survive but the fans wouldn't be bothered if we went down.

Gonna get messy, hope it works out for you though, had a few battles in League One back in 03/04 (fuck off Scott Taylor) but a good club, one of my earliest memories of going to footy was back in 1988 against Blackpool in the league cup we won 3-1 but was 3-3 on aggregate, at 7 I didn't get the away goals rule :D
