Let the bitching commence.

It'd be nice to beat these lot for once, and now the fat twat has gone elsewhere, and Hanson has also left the VP, we've got a great chance. Both teams are in decent form. I've heard whispers Moore and Taylor are carrying knocks?

Chicksen is back from suspension (I think?) Poleon must start. Harsh on Omari (I say this every week), but he's an asset from the bench.

I wanna see the German sensation in net instead of Doyle, but it's not gonna happen. Wouldn't mind Thompson replacing Killgallon, but he's played well recently.

GK: Colin Doyle

RB: Tony McMahon
CB: Nat Knight-Percival
CB: Matthew Killgallon
LB: Adam Chicksen

DCM: Romain Vincelot
RCM: Jake Reeves
LCM: Nicky Law

RW: Alex Gilliead
CF: Charlie Wyke
LW: Domonic Poleon

2-1 CITY (Wyke x2)

21,861 (1500 Millers)

Yep Moore looks likely to be left out due to injury and Taylor is 50/50 so it would be a massive blow to lose those 2 with the way they've been playing so far especially Moore with the ariel threat and goals he's scored but not only that we have built a good formation around Moore with 451 which seems to work brilliantly so we would have to change our shape and tactics if he's out.

If Moore and Taylor is available and we play like we have done for last 3 games then i'm confident of taking our annual 3 points again at VP but we are due a loss against Bradford at some point so that is a worry.

Your probably right with around 1500 millers travelling seen has though we've only shifted 1200 so far, disappointing really.

We'll lose this. Game will go simarlly to Fleetwood, Peterborough and Charlton. Warne hasn't got the tactical prowess to out do an experience manager with a decent side like any inexperienced manager would find.

(Portsmouth aside, we were always going to win that after the slimy gerbil's escopades last season).

We'll hammer the shite like Southend, Bury and Walsall all season but falt short against the better sides and that's why we'll just fall short of the play offs.

On the other hand we might hammer Bradford Saturday too and then it's pretty obvious we'll win the league then.

Thought you'd have filled the end behind the goal given your recent upturn in form and with it being a local derby?

Yeah same but i think we might just fill the behind the goal in the end.

I'd say it's a derby but not a local one it takes nearly 1 hour to get there in car or 2 or 3 changes on the train which i'm doing which will take a 1 hour and 30 mins ish. Probably just as much of a derby with your Lancashire teams distance and travelling wise.

The initial allocation is nearly sold out.

We'll take 1500+.

Bradford aren't a derby. Just a team we've played quite regularly in recent times who happen to be from the same county.

Probably one of the only games in this league I'm looking forward to, and this will be the highest away following to come for the rest of the season unless Wigan and Portsmouth are going well.

Tbh after watching the game against Portsmouth on Sky I thought both teams looked shite, but they've scored 5 twice already including 5 against a Southend side which will be no mugs once they get going. Taylor looked a quality player, with Moore looking a real handful (and a bit like oz off American Pie) so if they're both out that won't do us any harm.

But we seem to have found a formula with Law, Reeves and the Governor Vincelot in midfield and Wyke and Poleon up top. Hopefully Stuart doesn't mess about with the formation, but stranger things have happened. If we turn up I'm going 2-1 to City, but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world.

Taylor will play.

We've got more threats than what that Portsmouth game showed. Paticularly Ryan Williams who for me is out best player and should be head and shoulders above anything in this league. If Frecks has suddenly decided to start playing again too with the dependable Potter then I don't fancy the likes of Nicky Law to trouble us at all with all due respect.

If Mattock starts again (which he shouldn't) then thats where Bradford will get joy as he stands out as our weak link along with Richard Wood down that left hand side. No fears down the other with Iheikwe and Vaulks.

Should be a good game but I can see it turning out to be us lumping it to David Ball from Richard Wood for 90 minutes as Warne for some reason doesn't want to play proper football on the deck away from home.

Yeah I just checked - didn't even realise there was such a distance between the two of you. Almost identical to Oldham to Blackpool.

I like Ryan Williams but he needs to improve his final pass and decision making to be a championship player but his ball control, dribble and agility is excellent.

I like Purrington as well and i thought he was unlucky to be dropped but i thought Mattock was one of the best players Tuesday and should start again Saturday.

I think it's only a matter of time before Wood puts a bad game in and make some sort of error leading to a goal but he has been solid the last 3 games but theres always a mistake in him somewhere.

If Moore is out and we go with the same formation then he has to bring JCH back into team because Ball up front on his own won't work we saw that when he came on the other night we looked much less a goal threat and i reckon we would have scored 2 or 3 more goals if Moore didn't get injured.

I wouldn't expect Law to trouble you to much in terms of goal threat regardless of who you play, he's a neat and tidy player but is toothless when it comes to the final third.

If passing four yards sideways is Rotherham's Achilles heel then Nicky Law will smash it up on Saturday. Not sure why Kilgallon would be put forward as the dropped player to accommodate the lad from Bury, he's started the season in good form (more consistent than NKP), can't see the German getting a look in until the next JPT round, only after then can I see him starting.
A BTTS banker this fixture surely? 2-1 either way, although I fancy us on this good mini run we're on at the minute, expect our 11 will be the same as last weekend with Poleon back, question marks over Gillead though could let McArten in.

1500 would be decent for Rotherham, can remember them bringing less than 1000 a few times before the bitterness intensified when they started being managed by fat lad.

Probably because they don't have many fans and haven't really achieved anything in their meagre history, I'd say

Remember us bringing less than 1k on a Tuesday night once before but never a Saturday fixture.

I'm sure your away followings were shocking the entire time you were at Don Valley. Don't blame you as it was all a shambles.

Moore still 50/50 to play and Taylor likely.

Over 1500 sold now with pay on day available, should imagine behind the goal sold out with a couple hundred or so in the midland road stand.

What an awful attempt to get bites.

Must. Try. Harder.

I don't see any fun in trying to be underhand or nasty, thanks. Opinions should be expressed bluntly because football fans today have a tendency towards saying nothing in as many words as possible. All I try to do is make sure I can get a discussion going, and your response helped there.

Bad away support is bad away support, and Rotherham's tradition of mediocrity is a decent explanation as well as an objective fact. To any person of match-going age, your golden era is what? Stinking up the second tier?

Strange that such a superior team has a league record against such a set of wankers as us W9 D6 L9.
Though you did beat us in a cup match.
Well done.

To be honest, barring the last 3 visits to VP, Rotherham's support has been bang average.

Granted, there have been times when the fixtures have fallen on Tuesdays, but generally, followings NEVER reached over 1000 in L2 (barring the promotion season when they brought circa 1300)... so that's 5 visits.

Us on the other hand, barring the 07/08 season when we fetched 900, and the TV appearance at NYS (1100), we usually take decent numbers..selling out the first visit to their new stadium, and taking 2200 in the Cup.

Even through the lowest of the low days at the DVS, we took 1400, 1800 and 2200.

Anyway, that's all in the past, and their long due a mullering at VP.

Decent game and good win for us. First half was poor, Rotherham were pony if I'm honest and just humping it to the big man, we were slightly better and deserved the lead but Killa had to produce a worldie to clear off the line.

Second half Rotherham were a different side, dominated midfield and produced some very attacking stuff. But it was nice for once to DEFEND well and keep a clean sheet despite the pressure. Might have even nicked another on the break. Rotherham will be gutted about not getting a point though. Both teams will be there or thereabouts I would imagine.

Well we were well overdue a loss to City and today was their day.
Thought we deserved better but congratulations to City anyway.
They look a good side and should do well their defence was the difference today.
We concede far too many to get promoted but look a lot better than last season.

Clarke-Harris just tweeted a Bradford was doing monkey charts towards him at end of the game.

Ban the c*** but you think he'd be used to seeing ethnic minorities in Bradford.
