Early KO severnside derby, 4th vs 2nd. Cardiff always beat us and with having Warnock as well I think we're gonna be on the end of a shithousing, especially with the amount of injuries we have atm.

Fielding
Wright Flint Magnusson Bryan
Pack
O'Dowda Smith Brownhill Paterson
Reid
City 1-2 Cardiff (Reid 54', Ralls 19', Hoilett 87')

Reckon we will lose also. 0-1 for me, they'll score early and then time waste and feign injury for the entire game.

That's the exact scenario I'm dreading. You just feel that they will be a little bit more streetwise than us which could be the difference.

All that said, we really should be a bit more positive after a fantastic performance on Tuesday.

Heart says 1-0, head says 0-1.

Cardiff are clever under Warnock. They make lots of little fouls to stop attacks that go unpunished by the officials. I remember their RB pulling Jota back at every opportunity to stop our counter attacks, and the referee failing to see it. Also long ball merchants, and 2 big fuckers in defence that hoof or head anything and everything away.

Good luck.

That's what all warnock teams do. He's had that reputation for years yet refs don't seem to be wise to it.

I'm sure I read recently a Cardiff supporter saying something like "we're not playing very well, but everything going our way".
Reminds me of our season at this point last year, and we are all aware that you can't rely on good fortune staying with you all the way through.
So that gives me hope that our current fine form will win the day over a lucky streak.

1-0 City (Bristol of course!)

If the rest of you lot in this league weren't such a bunch of nancies there'd be no issue with it.

Aye that Cardiff fan was me, and it's true we're not playing well. Which means we're due a good performance and may God have mercy on whichever team that ends up being against. Playing shit and sticking up the top says a lot. As for Saturday I'd be happy with a draw, your lot are looking very good right now and it won't be easy at all. We do like Ashton Gate though....

1-1 in a thoroughly boring game. Morrison scoring for us.

As others have said, I fully expect a defeat in this one.
We dont go well against niggly cheaty ball out of play teams like Cardiff, Burton and Birmingham.
Come to think of it I might regret going to this game as I cannot stand those tactics where the ball is hardly in play.

Yep definitely lost this game now. The FA are an absolute joke... it's bad enough they've made this shit decision anyway but the timing of it is unbelievable... not allowed to appeal either.

Just hope this riles the players tomorrow after hearing the news.

Think we’ll lose this, sadly.

Wouldn't surprise me for Korey to move to right back, Pack & Brownhill CM and 442 with Djuric with Reid. Rescinding the Fulham red card is one thing but to ban Bailey for simulation is bullshit, Kamara must be a good 17/18 stone? Someone like him comes over and shoves you with force, 99% of people are falling as a result.

So you've gone from a player getting sent off to the guy he pushed over being banned for diving/cheating.

Either the ref really got badly conned or isn't up for the job?

I mean surely either way it must be clear cut what happened...

Apparently none of the officials actually saw what happened, if they want to say its not a red what, whatever fine. But to say Wright simulated to get him sent off is ridiculous, Kamara clearly does shove him with force and he's a big guy strong enough to push near enough anyone over.

Yeah, exactly. Surely they could have at least made this decision Wednesday evening, how long does it fucking take to decide if a player's guilty of simulation or not?

Remember that you're talking about one of the most incompetent organisations to have ever existed.

If anything our players are going to feel a huge injustice and will be even more fired up as a result. (Hopefully)

Game after game after game, teams like Birmingham, Burton and anyone managed by Warnock come to the Gate, fall down holding their heads for no reason at the ever of slightest of contacts, game management they say.

Bailey Wright has a perfectly good goal disallowed for a no-where-near-offside decision, 30 seconds later is pushed over in what would be an assault on the street, and gets 2 game ban!!

Whilst the blind linesman and the perpetrator of the push can just carry on as normal.

Fuck the FA, fuck Warnock, fuck Kamara who was looking for it all night (get a woman), I HOPE WRIGHT PLAYS TOMORROW

At the very least, I expect ALL of our players, including the subs to square up to the Cardiff team and violently push them to the floor. Warnock as well why not, oh and the ref for good measure.
Yellow cards all around.

I've got a theory that this is all just a bit of banter, and bailey will in fact line up against Cardiff tomorrow.
