You on about QPR? we got same last season, would be given both tiers if we played on a Saturday but not midweek.

I am sure you got both tiers a couple of years back. No idea why that stopped though, we would give both out with demand. We certainly wouldn't need it for QPR fans.

We’ve been allocated 3100 for QPR. Friday night game on tv.

Should be a good atmosphere there for that. You going? I won't be in the country for this one, but I am hoping they show it somewhere as it is the main game. Doubtful but worth a try to find one, even if it's just to pub crawl around to find it.

I’ll be going, yes. Depends how we are doing regarding atmosphere. Should sell out, being a Friday night game.

7,500 to any away game is incredible.

Out of interest, how many do you think Leeds could sell if Blackburn gave them free reign on tickets? 10,000?

Wolves 9,000 at MK Dons is the biggest I’ve ever known.

Back in 2011ish the club claimed to have had 9,000 applications for tickets to Donny away on a Friday. God knows how they knew that, but it would seem about right given we'd got off to a goodish start and had just been promoted back to Div2. Next home game Vs Cardiff there was only about 19k in Elland Road

Looks to me like you have a hardcore fanbase of about 18k then, die hards essentially. The rest will be casual fans or exiles which get your crowds up to 34k.

Brentford sold out within 3 days to STHs, damn these tinpot clubs like Swansea and Brentford not giving massive clubs like us enough tickets to even satisfy the demand for season ticket holders :animatedf:

Have you seen their new stand? It’s compatible and can be lifted and taken around the country for when they sell out away ends and need extra tickets, they just dump this in the corner. Watkins loves it.

But nearly 8k sold for Blackburn. And 80% to ST holders, the rest to members paying £40 a year just for the opportunity of an away ticket. The only thing anomalous about it is the allocation

Flip side of the coin, Leeds Vs Brentford won't sell out. About 31k Leeds fans will attend an attractive home game against a fancied opponent. With an open sale about a third of that number would probably go to Ewood. Nothing anomalous about ER not selling out either

I don’t know how everyone else finds it there, but when Birmingham got both tiers, it was a nightmare outside. They haven’t given us that lower tier since.

I’m sure they restricted a couple of other clubs to ‘upper only’, the following season. Leeds being one.

Easy really, we kick the ball into the net twice whilst they need help of ref just to score once. :bg:
We were poor first 30 mins though they weren't anything special, stepped it up in 2nd half and bang bang.:woo:

It could have been 3-0 at ht, you looked lost, finished when it mattered though and a great 3 points.

These were the stats after 22 minutes, you couldn’t get near us for the first half hour but we didn’t take our chances and were sloppy at the back for the first goal particularly and were punished.
