I reckon Bristol Rovers would still sell out Forest for a dead rubber.

I’d have to agree, I don’t think that’s great from Bristol City.

Also, it’s not a dead rubber, and it certainly wasn’t prior to the Derby/Cardiff game, on Tuesday.

For an away game, you’d have had your ticket and travel sorted long before that game. I’m not buying the dead rubber, thing.

Nice try El G. Given it would be a cup final for them, they would probably sell a fair few but we play Forest every year, they don't, we even spent a fair old time in L1 with Forest.
The methane snorters perpetuate this myth that their support is wonderful when it clearly isn't. Our away numbers aren't great but we don't say they are to be fair.

That's bollocks, I'm going and haven't booked train or match tickets yet, will do it at some point tomorrow or if I forget just POTD.

You do at a club that sells out often enough.

I don't, you buy your tickets on the train as well don't you?

Mostly yes just pay on the day in the station. Always get match tickets straight away if there is any chance of selling out.

Depends where we are playing depends on if we get train tickets in advance, long haul ones it's cheaper to book earlier.

As for tickets, given we tend to sell out a fair bit I buy mine when they hit my sales (points) level.

Still 200 left for Wolves I'm told, shite from us but still averaged just under 2.5k despite a wank season.

I usually buy match tickets in advance but have been lazy with it for the last two, but train tickets never more than a week before.

Booked train tickets today for Exeter next Saturday, gonna be a belting day if there's something to play for for them.

'Shit scared'

I don't blame you, roles reversed I wouldn't fancy going up for your promotion party either... especially at the prices you charge

Is there a guide for what each club charges away fans? The bigger clubs will always be charged more, it's shit for those fans really.

Cardiff not even sold out at hull tommorrow, will be plenty regretting that if the Fulham results remains the same.

I may have mentioned this a number of times, but they managed a paltry 276 to ours this season. A long way on a Tuesday night but they were 2nd at the time ffs. Absolutely shite.

Is it worth considering they lost a fair number of supporters with the whole rebranding thing?

A shite excuse. They'd have a point if they were still in red but it only lasted for a year or two until their owner backed down. The same owner who has probably invested more money into Cardiff City than every owner in their history combined. If there were ever a bunch of fans that didn't deserve promotion it's Cardiff.

Cardiff fans we're quite happy playing in red when they got promotion and were playing in the Premier League.

I've never understood the obsession other fans have with our attendance figures. We never have and never will claim to be a well supported club with a huge fan base. The way people go on you'd think we have put ourselves in with the likes of Wednesday, Leeds and Villa. Cardiff always has and always will be a city with a very small core of real fans with a lot of casual goers, and even then there has to be some incentive for them to turn up. I remember when we were getting 12k for a game and that was considered a big crowd.

And Mark, you really have no idea what effect the rebrand had, and it's not a discussion I'm willing to have either. Years later it's still a very fragile subject.
