Worked in Chesterfield a few years back, and didn’t realise how close Sheffield was. Won’t be long before Chesterfield swallows the Sheffield area up, and it becomes part of Chesterfield and Derbyshire.
We've already annexed that, Rotherham and Barnsley, all under Sheffield postcodes, so really they are in Greater Sheffield.

In west London we have a weird situation where none of us are really seen as their main rivals.

We hate Chelsea. Don't have any ill feelings towards Brentford or Fulham.
Brentford hate us but are okay with Fulham and Chelsea.
Fulham hate us and Chelsea, but sing about QPR so I think they would hate us more.
Chelsea don't give a stuff about any of us. Historically, us and Chelsea use to have a big rivalry but that has obviously changed in the last however many years, as they got good and we got shit.

I am sure there is a Brentford fan on here who would tell me if that is right or wrong?

I still class Chelsea as our main rivals. Younger fans though, seem to be classing Brentford as their main rivals. I am 29 but the younger generation seem torn between Brentford and Fulham and not bothered about Chelsea.

But the large proportion of the fan base will tell you our main rivals are Chelsea and the older generation will tell stories about the rivalries of yesteryear. You only have to be at Loftus Road when we play each other and you will feel the hostility towards them.

First time Ive evee missed Bolton away on a weekend when I've been at home but at £35 they can fuck off, absolutely disgraceful. Credit to Preston charging £24 enabling us to take nearly 4,000. Be sub 1,000 at Bolton I reckon our lowest ever following to them in our history. Would have taken more than we did to Preston at reasonable prices, so Boltons owners only screwing themselves over.

I know you are on the wind up but to call Forest V Derby a derby game is a joke.

A joke, you must be mad , both teams will show passion, hatred, and a will to win, that your game on Friday never shown, in fact that was the most boring Derby I have seen in years, pride park will be a sell out which it always is. Hope you enjoy the game on the 17th of December, all of Derby and Notts will.

The best away support in this division is Leeds and Villa, massive city's so you do expect that, also Wednesday is always good in numbers but not in vocal support, they also pitch Rangers songs and claim them for themselves, if you don't bounce is a Rangers song, that's where Derby first heard it, and used it ever since, hope I am not upsetting the mighty Wednesday fans with this statement, but it's the truth, A Rangers song, used by us after them. Not Wednesday.

We haven’t sold out for years.

Villa were decent but then again most are when they’re 3 up away from home. I think Blues were better but you can definitely understand the Villa songs more than the Birmingham ones. Fuck knows what they were saying last week.

You're talking shit, again. As has been explained time and again we did our version of the bounce the day before Rangers played at Pride Park

I'm embarrassed by this thread to be honest.

As an aside, we stole the bounce off Wednesday no doubt. But we all steal off each other dont we?

Rangers' bounce is nothing like ours or Wednesday's as well.

not wumming pal, but fact, Teams with a footballing history in the last 60 years and should be premier league are Leeds, Villa, Derby, Forest, Blackburn. These are the teams who have been Champions of England, or even Europe. My opinion, but these are the teams in this division, with a good football pedigree. No doubt you think Sheffield teams and Bristol should be included, but you have no recent history, both Sheffield clubs are well supported I will give them that, but Bristol support has always been average at best, so Bristol is a nothing place as far as football is concern.
