Bowyer doing his classic good run at the end of the season to make it look like there was a play-off push.

While it pains me to say it I think Blackpool have been THE team in leaqgue 1 this season. While some may not be aware, the off-field situation at the club has been truely mind blowing. The team itself is comprised of free's and loan players that most other clubs did not want. The pitch is something of a joke considering this is a recent prem club. The training facilty consists of a field with 2 pitches, one of which is usually waterlogged, this years improvements to it consisted of x1 porto-loo. The fans stay away in their droves so the home game atmosphere is nil. Yet despite all the above they have been competing at a good level. Not sure any other club could match this.

Think Gary Bowyer is one of the most underrated managers in English football tbh.

I’m fairly certain if it wasn’t for him Blackpool would be languishing as a mid table league 2 club right now.

And there's a good chance we'd be in the Premier League. Any other manager would have taken us up in either 2013/14 or 14/15; far too cautious and always snatching a draw from the jaws of victory.

You’ve enjoyed such success without him

Blackpool have done far better than most were expecting. Credit to them, a good away day as well (except when we get spanked 5-0).

Absolute nonsense. Your squad was nowhere near good enough to be challenging in either of those 2 seasons. Your best chance was 2012/13 your first season down. Years of neglect had crept in by 2013/14 season. Thought you over performed in both of those seasons. You had Todd Kane, Lee Williamson and Chris Taylor as regular starters on 2013/14 to finish 8th was great management.

Not surprised you went down after Bowyer left.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

If you think a team with Danny Murphy, Leon Best and Dickson Etuhu should have been promoted yet a team with two 20+ goal a season strikers only finished as high as 8th through good management then you need your head checking.
