Another good counter attack.

3-0 doesn't flatter Belgium either. Ireland have been poor.

3-0 Lukaku again, lovely goal and finish from Belgium, game over now. Shabby defending again Clark diving in has cost them there, complete capitulation from Ireland.

The commentators can moan about ref decisions all they want, this Ireland team have gotten exactly what this performance has deserved.

Good news for Ireland is that Italy are guaranteed top spot so they're likely to rest a few players.

Belgium improved its performance. They could use better plays in speed to get the win and it worked very well. Witsel seems a guy to look at.
Hopefully Belgium gears now. Would absolutely like to watch them playing equivalent to their great squad.

Alderweireld (or was it Vermaelen?) couldn't have had any complaints had the ref sent him off and given Ireland a penalty for that high foot in the box just before Lukaku scored.

Belgium have been the far superior side though.
Both?

Interesting to note the referee was the ref who sent Nani off for an apparent high foot against Real Madrid a few years ago.

Missed the second half but saw the dire first half, was it just a case or Ireland being rubbish or did Belgium finally begin to turn up?

Well, that was shit.

We were throughly outclassed. It did not help that we put on one of our worst performances in recent years. It seems Italy are going to field a second string side on Wednesday, so all is not lost yet.

Went to that one. Drinking with the Irish was more entertaining than the game. Not impressed by De Bruyne or Hazard. Good thing Lukaku delivered as I reckon Belgium would have struggled for goals without him.
