So we've lost Norwich, Sheffield United, Villa, Ipswich, Bolton and Rotherham and replaced them with Cardiff, Fulham, Huddersfield, Charlton, Luton and Barnsley.

The most southern the league has been for years, we have about half of our games within 2 hours of us. Won't make much difference to our away support number as the allocations down here aren't huge, but should be some great days out.

As well as being southern, the league looks as weak as I can ever remember it looking at this stage. Half of the league is a complete mess financially.

Will Fulham get punished for how much they spent to get promoted last time?

Nope. Neither will Bournemouth or Wolves when they're back down here.

Bollocks that, bet they spunk £50m again this summer.

Convinced they'll loan Dwight Gayle, partners up with Mitrovic and they'll bum the league.

Looking forward to having so many local games. Be good to go to Charlton and Luton if I can get tickets.

We had something similar when we played Swansea in the 2011 play-off final. 85,000 fans heading into Paddington - the Old Bill put on Reading & Swansea only trains.

There is no love lost between Cardiff and ourselves Southbank, never has been.
It would be chaos!

Getting tickets for Luton away will be tricky for most clubs at this level, we only give a max allocation of just over 1,000 these days as the Oak Road is now split between home and away fans. Be good to see it full every week after our wilderness years that's for sure.

And no doubt live on Sky once again for everyone nobody to enjoy.

The 0-0 draw in the Premier League where we were both relegated in the same game was a particular highlight, especially as it was billed as a 'Super Sunday' clash.

Looks the weakest in probably the last decade. No stand out teams, the teams coming down look the weakest in a very long time. Teams that missed out on promotion could be torn apart, expecially as so many had a lot of loans.

Will be wide open next season, a shock promotion/relegation wouldn't be a surprise.

“It’s the weakest it’s been for x amount of time” is banded about every summer to be fair.
Yeah it is you’re right, but I think genuinely looking at the league and the financial situations of several big hitters it could well be the lowest standard it has been for a long while in this league.

I’ll come back to it in August and judge it then as some clubs may take the Bournemouth/Wolves approach and go all out for promotion completely disregarding FFP. We’ll see.

I think the top of the table will be weaker but the bottom will be stronger.
Less points than last season needed for Promotion but more needed for safety.
See there being even less difference between the top teams and the bottom ones than usual, with no stand out favourite to runway with the title or stand out relegation material.

As it stands, we are currently stand out relegation material.

A long way to go EV and nobody has really made any moves yet. You do need to reinforce though, as we all do.
I wouldn't worry too much just yet.
The Den is never an easy place to go for any team, regardless of how good they are and that will help you.
Even though the division appears weaker (as said, people say that every year), it's still gonna be close, as usual.

Was that our first win at the New Den last month? I can't recall any others.

Top scenes even though the game turned out to mean not a lot.

No mate. I was there when we won 2 nil (Goater x 2) years ago. Their boss was Jimmy Nicholl at the time and they had a silent fans protest against him, on the pitch, which descended into chaos.
We haven't done well there over the years to be fair to Millwall.

I'd hoped to never hear that name again.
