York are favourites at 5-1 ,all that means is a £10 bet would mean you losing £10.

Peniket is the next player to join. If he's replacement for Ironside I'm not happy with him being our number 9 for the whole season. Not prolific enough. But if he's here as a squad player to just play a part and be a nuisance up front when it's needed I think he's what we need.

Couldnt hit a barn door for us. Just 7 goals in 42 appearances and missed several great chances.

Very good work rate but not the best finisher. Was never the same for us after his bad injury.

News of Exeter City interested in Noah Smerdon and we've taken Ben Whitehead on trial from Cirencester Town with a view to a perm' deal. Top scorer in S&W league with a whopping 47 goals in total, 43 in that league.

Marlon Jackson signs for us. Torrid time at Hereford by the looks of it but was on fire at a struggling Weston afterwards scoring 10 in 14 games for them. They beat us 3-1 in a crucial game (and Todd's last) at Evesham and he absolutely battered us that afternoon. Hoping he can retain that form!

Yeah if they can get some consistency thats two great additions. Going forwards last season we were utter crap until Fabien came along and things started to tick, no news on him yet however..

Blyth have followed Darlington's example of snatching all their players by doing the same to Newcastle Benfield by the looks of it. I know the Northern League is arguably higher quality than other equivalent leagues but bringing in 5 players from 3 leagues below into a squad that has been decimated seems a bit risky.
