Nice of BT to let us open the season up again :bdick:

Appears they want to show all teams at least once in a season.

I am on the fence with regards to our trip to Chesterfield on September 1st, if those fuckers at BT have proved anything last year, its that they're not afraid to show the two biggest clubs on TV at least once in a season, so I am holding back booking anything...........

At least now there is less of a chance of me being stitched up several times like last season when those pricks fucked my plans up at least 4 times. :fing:

When will Septembers games be announced? Fancy both Dagenham and Maidstone away but don't want to book and it get shifted.

Our August fixtures are looking like this...

Ebbsfleet A - HIGH
Aldershot H - HIGH
Braintree H - LOW
Barrow A - LOW
Salford A - HIGH
Barnet H - HIGH
Hartlepool A - MEDIUM

On first glance I'm thinking that this looks a pretty tough run of fixtures, but I don't really know why to expect from any team in this league so I'm not sure really.

What do others think?

Going by last seasons results (or for promoted/relegated clubs, what I would expect this season), i've rated the above either high, medium or low difficulty - but this is only a rough guess at this stage of pre-season. As Master D says, you'll probably beat us and Ebbsfleet and then lose to Braintree.

Don’t worry, it’ll be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Braintree's pitch was RIDICULOUS when we were down here 5 years ago, like you got a snowflake in Sweden and Braintree was waterlogged for a month, surely they've improved that

If it’s anything like last season probably about a day before kick off

You'll get smashed 3-0 by Ebbsfleet on the first day. A nice, gentle introduction to the league.

Odd that Chesterfield got the same team away that we did on our first game here, we were lucky to escape with a 2-2

Beware the pitfalls of Barrow

Anyone see that BT are broadcasting Salford’s friendly with Fleetwood?

That’s my wedding anniversary planned RIGHT THERE

From experience last season, it was a month before the game. So from August 1st they will announce the September games. Our game on the 1st September is very, very likely to be selected because they will get decent viewing figures from two of the leagues biggest clubs.

Last season they televised at least one of our games against Tranmere and Hartlepool early on.

I remember our game at Ebbsfleet was also selected 1 month before we played them.

Its a bit shit to be honest. At the end of the season they will focus on the title challengers showing them every week until someone wins the league.

I have managed to get train tickets to our game for around 25 quid with a two together railcard - 9am up arrive at 10.45am and back on the 17.41. I am fully expecting to have to hang around town for 3 hours afterwards like I had to once or twice last season. But at that price it was worth the gamble for me.

Very good that, looking like £40 odd quid for Ebblsfleet into St Pancras and £35 for Dagenham. We are relatively well connected to London though so always a good day out.

Few decent boozers in the town now for you to kill time anyway so no the end of the world.

Looking at some of those car crash fixtures I’m mighty relieved Slade got sacked just in the nick of time.
