We've announced the signings of Benji Crilley and Abobaker Eisa from Chesham United and Uxbridge respectively this lunchtime.

No, I've not heard of them either.

Wealdstone - going for it.™

Cracking names there!

We won the Conference South Programme of the Year for the second season running, as voted for by the other clubs. Perhaps we aren't as hated as some would suggest. ;)

Oh I dunno, there's something quite enjoyable about following a team who the majority of the division despise.

I am sure Boreham Wood fans would know all about that.

They exist? I just thought they were locals who came out of the woodwork for a local derby or important league/cup tie.

I embrace the hate. Nobody batted an eyelid before we went down. We were even respected. A bit of money and we're scum of the earth.

Hemel have signed Ismail Yakubu this afternoon. Still makes me laugh when remembering that one of their supporters posted in Nomads that they had the second or third lowest budget in the league.

I doubt Greenhalgh & Driver are playing for pittance either.

I'm sure that Yaks will be a great defender at this level...as long as he avoids injury.

Yakubu and Hamblin are a ridiculously good centre half pairing for this level. Both are total crockpots though.

Jonny Wright announced that he's leaving the club. This one I'm really disappointed by (not least because it means I'll have to change my avatar) but he brought so much to our attacking game. Excellent technical ability and vision plus since unlike everyone else in our team, he could win headers, our attacks would regularly begin from Wrighty's headers or lay-offs. Shame he has no pace and shooting is erratic to say the least but somebody is getting a very good player there.

I don't hate you, in fact I'm looking forward to re-visiting next season. We played you in the Trophy 6 years ago when you were in Conference and we were at Step 3. Cracking match too.

Thank you from Brackley Town to Hemel for signing David Moyo. Two and a half years of watching him mis-control the ball, fail to score and think he was Zinedine Zidane with cack handed flicks that never came off, is more than enough for anyone to put up with. Came to a head one match late last season when our manager - one of the nice guys of football who rarely criticises anyone publicly - bellowed so loudly everyone in the ground could hear "David that's shit' after another terrible mis-control ended a crucial chance to breakaway. Every time he went on a little run of two games not being shite he'd immediately let you down again. Sadly became a bit of a joke player by the end. Made me chuckle to see what Hemel said about having monitored him for so long. Would suggested he should be monitored down to Evostick Southern League Central Division level....

Hemel have scouts everywhere and despite what they'll tell you, as has been discussed above I'd be surprised if they weren't paying Moyo a nice sum too. He probably had a blinder against us in that FA Trophy tie last season, although we made every Brackley player look like world beaters.

I recall. Was speaking to a few Chester fans before the game who were very decent. You had a good number (around 400 I would have said) and were a credit to your club that day.

My only visit to the Deva was your last ever game as Chester City.

We've announced the signings of Josh Hill from Chelmsford City and Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick from Hampton this evening. Reasonably pleased with both signings, Hill has an excellent pedigree at this level and I think he'll be a good foil alongside Ciaran Brown. We also needed another tricky winger to compliment Matty Whichelow (who's not a winger but hey ho) and it sounds like Hippolyte-Patrick is exactly that. Hopefully we're a bit more expansive and fast flowing now on the attack, oh but I can hope...

25 and 22 too, good ages. Our squad was essentially full of geriatrics last season.

But on a sadder note, Wes Parker says goodbye to the club after 7 years at Wealdstone. Legend.

Shaq started off at Sutton. Looked promising enough but couldn't really break into the first 11 on a regular basis

Which seems to be the consensus from Hampton supporters too.

We've got a thread with ins and outs here;

http://z13.invisionfree.com/Voice_of_the_T_End/index.php?showtopic=866

Missing on your ins is Will Morford who joins us from Shortwood United as a player/coach. Adds to our front line too as he got 14 goals in the S&W last season.

Luke Wanadio went to Bromley by the way. From those on the outs, a few more to update (only adding those who have already joined another club):

Bognor Regis Town - James Fraser (Worthing)
Braintree Town - Michael Cheek (Dagenham and Redbridge), Harry Lee (Chelmsford City), Jack Midson (Leatherhead), Manny Parry (Dover Athletic)
Chelmsford City - Josh Rees (Bromley), Robbie Willmott (Newport County)
Concord Rangers - James White (East Thurrock United)
Dartford - Tom Wynter (Margate), Richard Seixas (Phoenix Sports)
East Thurrock United - Tom Wraight (Maidstone United)
Hemel Hempstead Town - Mitchell Weiss (Kings Langley)
Hungerford Town - Harry Goodger (Whitstable Town)
Oxford City - Jefferson Louis (Banbury United), Tom Winters (Banbury United)
Poole Town - Marvin Brooks (Salisbury)
St Albans City - Matt Ball (Hendon)
Truro City - Martin Rice (Tiverton Town)
Wealdstone - Josh Mcleod-Urquhart (Billericay Town), Sahr Kabba (Merstham)
Welling United - Jordan Brown (Concord Rangers), Rickie Hayles (Dulwich Hamlet), Dan Walker (Billericay Town), Danny Waldren (Billericay Town)
Whitehawk - Danny Mills (Ebbsfleet United)

What has happened to Sahr Kabba? Thought he was excellent at Havant.

Warning signs from Welling were right to be honest Joe, he didn't help himself by giving away a penalty on the opening day at Dartford no longer than 30 seconds having been introduced as a substitute.

Loan spells at Hayes and Harrow followed. Panic signing that backfired.

Blimey, that's a shame. Thought he was destined for a career in the league while at Havant. Really rated him there.
