i may curse this but i am not as worried about this 2-0 lead as i was at Boston, Boston on sat were creating chance after chance after chance and we nabbed them on break. Telford have frankly hardly tested the keeper........both sides having a good go and pushing up, but neither been testing keeper, not sure they will have enough shots to get this back.

Telford 0-3 Curzon.

Telford missed a pen with just about the last kick of game. Massive win for us on two fronts. Firstly our first win in ages and secondly its badly hurt the morale at Telford their ground sounded utter depressed that last 30 minutes.

great second half, 6 goals in last 2 games and 4 points from 2 away games.......much better.

Telford are in dire dire trouble.

I agree. They certainly have the fixtures to get out of it though.Played all of the top half home and away except for Spennymoor I believe.

I still worry for Tamworth.

I remember many seasons ago Shrewsbury kept thinking they would be fine even though down in trouble as they had lots of easy home games and games in hand.

then they lost them and lost them and lost them until playing Carlisle at home in a 'loser is relegated' match and lost shoving them into the conference.

Telford's problem is they just whacked an inexperienced coach with zero experience here and shoved him with a load of youth players and then they mixed in an odd experienced big name here and there in a hope it would give some leadership...................in the end it has created a big nervous mess lacking battle, passion and fight.

they are in a serious serious trouble, crowd sounded like it is close to getting quite angry at side but trying not to due to situation. They probably need to ditch their manager, quickly find a fighter in there.

Some York fans been worried about situation between chairman and board, feel a lot better about it,signed 4 players today that isn’t sign of chairman pulling out.
Conner Brown made permanent switch from loan.
Left back Marcus Williams from Guiseley.
Young 16 year old from Gray old club Vinny Steele.
Plus a trailists who scored 3 goals today for reserves against Hartlepool

I've never seen the youngster play, so i can't really comment whether he's any good? But on the other hand I've heard rave reviews from other fan's about Vinny Steels about the immense potential this lads got. A Gray signing for the future.

Also you guys have signed 22-year-old striker Alex Kempster from Whitley Bay, he's the one that scored 3 goals against Hartlepool.

AFC Telfwolves 0-3 Curzon (Brackley on a budget) Ashton.
OH DEAR! We are in big trouble. Curzon played to their strengths and hit us on the break with speed and two fantastic finishes. Lucky with the 3rd though (Straw firmly cluched). Our night summed up with dreadful penalty miss at the death.
CUFC Bid Dave has summed us up to a tee.....

Rob Edwards has called the atmosphere at home games toxic. Time is running out for him. This project is failing badly.

Looks like McKenna is having a good positive impact on you guys.

Pleasing to see. Thought he was a good player for us and sad to see him leave. Just too much competition for places here. Adam Thomas is playing superbly at the moment, we've got Rhys Turner and Sam Minihan who can both play on the wing due back from injury soon and then there's the youngster Adam Etches who Gannon rates very highly.

On the left side, he's never going to get in ahead of Darren Stephenson.

Hope you guys continue to improve and finish safely in mid table

He did yes. Played well too. Had a nice chat with after the game too. Wish he played for us.
We couldn't really keep him because of the situation with finances. He could have hung about and picked up his wages, but he's bigger than that. Good luck Tom, see you next season. He's sure to get a warm welcome when he returns to the Deva. Also hopes he gets a better future crack at management than he had with us.

Steels played in pre-season for you.
Kempster seems to be a wide or central Midfield attacking player.
Good age and been playing against men since he was 17 instead of someone from an U23 team.

Did he which pre-season game did he play for us? I saw 4 of them and i just don't recall seeing him that's all.

I know he got a run-out back in November in a midweek friendly against Newton Aycliffe at Eastbourne Sports Complex in, It was just a match that took place instead of the team's usual training session.

I was somewhat surprised with Kempster giving up his job for a full time contract just until the end of the season. He'll have to work hard under Martin Gray, I suppose he's only young at 22-year-old, he could be a decent signing.

Dunno which games. Our local rag is saying Gray included him in the squad during pre-season.

Arrived at The Dropkick pub (what a name) near the ground for a few drinks and then had a walk to the ground.
What Kev fails to mention is that he windmilled the owner for a free pint. Anything is possible with this bloke.

Not too much but he didn't do bad at Carlisle, just never drastically got much of a start. He came in as he scored loads in lower league level and worked very hard so much so they allowed him back for a second spell.

He's a hard grafter, tallish decent build, he just needs someone to give him a proper go.

Hopefully he can rekindle his scoring for us, but I somehow doubt it.

See tomorrow is segregated Dave.
God knows why as there wasn't any trouble at the cup tie last season.

I just hope he gets a chance to prov e himself with us and doesn't end up stuck on the bench while all the "favourites" play week in, week out.

Well start of an very tough 7 days which sees us face league leaders Salford at the Impact before a midweek trip to Harrogate and a visit to Bootham Crescent next week to face York.

Would be happy with anything from this trio of games. Just hoping we arent dragged too close to the relegation zone.

All the pressure is on Salford tomorrow with Harrogate waiting to pounce should they slip up. Be nice to get one over on them and their "fans"

Rumour has it Gary Neville stormed off after the game last Saturday with his tail between his legs.

It says a lot of Neville and co bother their backsides to turn up at Stockport and York but don't bother themselves to turn up to watch their club at Curzon..........even though we're only round the corner.

They only turn up when the game is classed as big enough for them to bother.

I didn't take much notice whether the chuckle brothers turned up at BM back in January for their re-arranged game against us on a freezing cold night.
For us there sideshow is not an attraction anymore like it use to be.

Looking forward to tomorrow's long, long journey down to the other end of the country i went last year, we were very fortunate to come away with a 2-2 draw even after taking the lead twice. Now in our rich vein of form at the moment I would after say we must surely have a squeak of picking up at least a point?

But then again this is Brackley who I think still have a slim chance of picking off Salford and Harrogate? But obviously they have a bit of ground to make up on the front two. They are still the only side in the division that are still unbeaten at home. So it'll be a very tough game for us tomorrow.

Unfortunately we've lost one our in form players Thompson due to getting sent off last week down at Bradford, and Caton is still out injured.
So could be a bit light up front, really not expecting anything from this match at all. If anything our current form will see us through.
